Lo scenario dovrebbe essere quello classico; alla pubblicazione dell’articolo parte il ping ai servizi, questi arrivano famelici con i loro bot e WordPress si siede.. Non per colpa sua, ma è tutto dovuto al fantastico webserver Apache.
Le soluzioni sono diverse, dipende anche da che servizio si utilizza (shareserver, vps o dedicato?). La più caldeggiata sarebbe quella di passare al webserver nginx. Ma se non è possibile, allora con Apache dobbiamo armarci di pazienza; in shareserver non possiamo fare nulla, se non limitare i bot da htaccess; invece con vps o dedicato si può mettere uno script che faccia il flush della memoria, oppure il classico reboot, automaticamente e ogniqualvolta sia necessario.. Basta che lo script possa monitorarne l’utilizzo, ad esempio via API.

San PietroburgoPartecipanteA livello database InnoDB ha prestazioni migliori specie nel riparare la tabella. Nel fornire pagine la differenza è minima ed utilizzando un plugin di cache praticamente uguali.
San PietroburgoPartecipanteDicevo che l’autore spiega il perché l’importazione dei commenti avviene nel momento in cui l’articolo verrà visitato; in pratica, il plugin lavora cosଠper non utilizzare eccessive risorse del server.
Riguardo l’utilizzo della coda di moderazione era un suggerimento poiché, alle volte, capita che un commento venga importato più volte, creando quindi dei duplicati dello stesso.
Ho dato uno sguardo al sito ed i link nei post funzionano (sono cliccabili), pertanto il tema è compatibile e non dovrai effettuare nessuna modifica al plugin.
San PietroburgoPartecipanteWordPress utilizza MyISAM quindi nessun problema. Esistono però alcuni plugin che creano loro tabelle nel database con storage InnoDB, quelli non funzionerebbero.

Come è normale, alle volte, che capiti un commento venga importato più volte, e per questo è meglio prima farli passare nella coda di moderazione (la attivi nelle opzioni del plugin).
Suggerisco di controllare (se avevi messo un link lo avrei fatto) se i link nelle pagine e post sono ancora cliccabili dopo aver attivato il plugin; capita che, con alcuni temi, smettano di esserlo. In questo caso l’unica è modificare il file seofacebook.php come già indicai a suo tempo qui:

San PietroburgoPartecipanteSarebbe interessante sapere da quale tema o plugin dipende quel messaggio.
San PietroburgoPartecipanteMolti utilizzano WPML perché credono alla “burla” che con qTranslate non sia possibile poi dividere i commenti dell’utenza nelle varie lingue e farli apparire solamente nella pagina corrispondente; e che non sia possibile utilizzare url diverse per pagine, post ed rss; e che il menù di navigazione (anche in dashboard) non possa essere diversificato per le varie lingue del sito web.
Anche quelli di wpml tirano acqua al loro mulino per questi due aspetti, e li pongono come sostanziali differenze con qT.
Con qualche base di php e javascript, nel senso di sapere in cosa si sta mettendo le mani, è invece semplicissimo apportare alcune modifiche (si copiano giusto le stringhe di codice necessarie in alcuni file o ci si crea un plugin apposito) per far sଠche anche con qTranslate avvenga quanto detto sopra.
San PietroburgoPartecipanteNe abbiamo già discusso in passato, il metodo migliore è quello di utilizzare un tema responsive, o modificare il proprio per renderlo adatto. L’uso di plugin è un approccio passeggero e sconsigliabile poiché, nel tempo, i temi validi implementeranno questo metodo. Oltretutto un plugin per creare la versione mobile rallenta il sito web ed aumenta l’uso di risorse e di memoria di php.
