scarica questo zip, che è la vecchia versione free.. e sostituisci i file sul server, mettendoli ovviamente nella stessa posizione, altrimenti poi devi ricambiare le impostazioni dell’url.

PaperPartecipantevisto.. in effetti subito non ci avevo fatto caso.. e mi basavo ancora sui ricordi di quando usavo io questa cosa.
Apparentemente, sulle nuove versioni di imagerotator, il team di sviluppo ha inserito il logo nella versione free (come a dire: ti diamo il componente gratis, ma tu ci fai un pò di pubblicità ) e non è possibile toglierlo, a meno di acquistare l’apposita licenza.
Sto però leggendo che se si installa una vecchia versione di imagerotator, il logo non è presente…
dammi 5 minuti che verifico e ti aggiorno

PaperPartecipantese fai come ti ho spiegato sopra, usando l’editor visuale, tu selezioni il nome della gallery e l’id lo mette lui in automatico
Se vai in manage gallery, nell’elenco quello che devi guardare è ID (quello nella prima colonna, tutta a sinistra) e non il page id che non c’entra nulla in questo caso.

Ergo, sei sicuro che l’id galleria inserito sia quello giusto? perchè di norma parte da 1 e va in progressione…
PaperPartecipanteaspetta, perchè ho fatto un errore io… andando a memoria ricordavo ci volesse il percorso della cartella dove c’era il file swf, invece mi sono accorto che vuole proprio il percorso completo con tanto di nome file…
quindi metti:

e dovrebbe andare
PaperPartecipantemi ero dimenticato di dirti che se hai installato wp in una sottodirectory chiamata wordpress (e controllando il tuo blog ho visto che è cosà¬) l’indirzzo esatto sarebbe dunque

ma anche omettendo il /wordpress/ va lo stesso… e infatti hai visto che l’ha trovato. Idem dovrebbe andare anche se metti solamente /wp-content/imagerotator/
Ora, teoricamente dovrebbe bastarti l’editare la pagina o il post.. e inserire [slideshow id=x] nel punto desiderato (mettendo sempre l’id della gallery che vuoi mostrare, invece della x)
NOTA: se vai ad editare e usi l’editor visuale, nelle opzioni, sulla destra, dovresti avere l’icona di NextGEN (controlla passandoci sopra il mouse e leggendo la descrizione) se tu ci clicchi, ti appare un comodo menu che ti fa scegliere tutte le opzioni, la galleria da inserire.. e se visualizzarla come galleria o come slideshow.. quando dai ok, lui inserisce in automatico il codice necessario.
PaperPartecipanteo inserisci il percorso, o dai cerca, come ho detto prima, sono due opzioni distinte, quindi se inserisci il percorso e poi dai cerca, il tuo inserimento manuale viene cancellato.
quindi per tagliare la testa al toro, inserisci il percorso, poi clicca su salva.. e se il percorso è giusto, il messaggio in rosso sparisce. NON cliccare su cerca.
Detto questo, un URL è un URL.. e infatti è specificato di proposito… quindi devi inserire l’indirizzo come lo visualizzerebbe un browser, ovvero:
http://www.indirizzosito.com/wp-content/uploads/imagerotator oppure dovrebbe bastare anche solo /wp-content/uploads/imagerotator perchè intanto è lo stesso dominio del blog. (se hai caricato appunto tutta la cartella, mettendola come sottodirectori di /uploads/)
come detto, l’URL deve essere quello del file .swf
PaperPartecipanteallora.. parliamo sempre della pagina delle opzioni dello slideshow.. quella dove c’è il messaggio in rosso che ti dice The path to imagerotator.swf is not defined, ecc ecc.
tu prima prendi la cartella “imagerotator” che hai estratto dallo zip.. e la carichi in /wp-content/uploads come ti suggerisce il messaggio nel box rosso.
poi, torni nella pagina di cui stiamo parlando.. sotto al messaggio nel rettangolo rosso, dovresti trovare una voce del tipo:
Path to the Imagerotator (URL):
che di fianco ha un campo d’inserimento testo, oppure un pulsante “search”.
Qui hai due possibilità
1) inserisci a mano l’url, che deve corrispondere al percorso dove si trova il file .swf
2) se tu hai caricato correttamente dentro /wp-content/uploads, puoi evitare di scrivere a mano e cliccare su “search” e nextgen farà una scansione di /uploads e relative sottocartelle… se trova il file da solo, salvi le impostazioni e dovrebbe andare… se non lo trova.. verifica il percorso e inseriscilo a mano.
p.s. già che sei là¬, una volta sistemato il discorso imagerotator, dai una controllata alle restanti opzioni, visto che ci sono un pò di cose interessanti da settare (dimensioni immagini, effetti di transizione.. ecc ecc)
PaperPartecipantese non sbaglio, dopo che l’hai caricato sul server, in wp-content/uploads come suggerisce il messaggio, devi anche inserire nel box sottostante il percorso esatto che punta al singolo file .swf
