Ehm scusate ho risolto da solo…
Nel file del template sotto a <?php /* Template Name: prova */ ?>
ho inserito la formattazione di pagina… e in questo modo lo vede.

Anche io avevo bisogno di fare una cosa del genere e alla fine ho risolto cosà¬:
ho inserito il post in un div di dimensione fissa con overflow:hidden. in questo modo nascondo tutta la parte del post che sconfina dopo una certa altezza.
il “more” l’ho messo in un div che sta sotto quello del post, cosଠviene automaticamente attaccato in fondo. Non è come avere un more automatico ma in pratica svolge la stessa funzione

nigredoPartecipanteTi ringrazio Wolly…ma purtroppo non ho risolto il problema. Lo script che mi hai indicato è del tutto simile al mio e già sapevo che all’interno del loop funzionava.
Ma in quel caso la foto viene ripetuta di fianco ad ognuno dei post archiviati.
A me serve che appaia una sola immagine, in alto, corrispondente all’autore dei post sottostanti.

nigredoPartecipanteOk grazie mille…penso di aver capito. Mi rimane il dubbio delle thumnails, ovvero non so come sia possibile crearle in base all’immagine/video che posto. Qualcuno mi saprebbe dare una dritta?
