Non è stato necessario aprire nessun ticket al fornitore. Ci ho messo un giorno ma ho risolto il problema.
Per i posteri che dovessero avere lo stesso problema io ho risolto cosi:
– accertatevi che tutti i file e le cartelle siano state importate nel DB. Mi ero accorto che utilizzando il tool offerto dal mio fornitore alcuni file non erano stati importati.
– ho dovuto sostituire l’host da “localhost” nell’indirizzo ip del mio server.

miticoandreaPartecipantese sei certo che i dati sono giusti e hai dubbi sul localhost… cambialo.. come? Lo sa uil tuo provider il messaggio di WP è chiaro uno o più paramentri sono sbagliati quindi NON è un problema di WP.
Poi spiegami perchè costa fatica aprire un ticket per un servizio pagato quando ti viene detto che NON è un problema di WP mentre non costa fatica insistere qua? Mah
non era mia intenzione insistere, chiedo venia. Fammi precisare che non ho dato mica colpa a WP ma a nessuno ho dato colpe.
Non ho nemmeno detto che non voglio aprire il ticket al mio fornitore ma mi sembra sensato da utente serio non “gridare a lupo a lupo” senza una vera necessità . Da qui dunque la domanda: è possibile risolvere al cosa da soli? riposta: no, se db, user e psw sono corretti allora non c’è niente da fare se non segnalare la cosa al fornitore.
E’ cosi si farà .
miticoandreaPartecipanteCHe non hai compilato correttamente il wp-config di WP con i dati esatti per accedere al DB, magari sull’host che non è localhost… ovviamente i dati giusti sono da chiedere al fornitore…
si ma come detto sopra il setup del DB è corretto. L’unico dubbio che ho è sul “localhost”. Visto che con “localhost” non funge ho provato inserendo l’indirizzo del server (non sono sicuro che questo sia effettivamente il local host ma ho voluto provare lo stesso.)
Prima di aprire un ticket per nulla, volevo cercare di capire se il problema era risolvibile da me utilizzando le risorse mie, dai internauti disponibili come te e da quello che google mette a disposizione
miticoandreaPartecipantesi dovrebbe prendere l’abitudine di scrivere sempre come viene risolto il problema altrimenti i forum perdono la loro efficacia. Io lo faccio sempre.
Comunque, non è che mi sai consigliare qualche tentativo? al momento ho importato tramite ftp tutto nella root principale.
Gli accessi al db nel file wp-config.php sono configurati correttamente ed ho provato anche ad inserire l’host al posto di localhost.
L’errore che ho è il seguente:
<<Errore nello stabilire una connessione al database
Ciò significa che le informazioni sul nome utente o sulla password presenti nel file wp-config.php non sono corrette o che non è possibile contattare il server del database a localhost. Il che potrebbe voler dire che il database server del fornitore di hosting non è attivo.
Si è sicuri di disporre del nome utente e della password corretti?
Si è sicuri di aver digitato correttamente il nome dell’host?
Si è sicuri che il server del database sia funzionante?
Nel caso non si abbia certezza sul significato di questi termini è opportuno contattare il proprio host. Se si ha bisogno di ulteriore aiuto è sempre possibile visitare il Forum di supporto italiano su WordPress.>>

come hai risolto poi? è veramente un problema di dove sono stati copiati i file?
Io ho un problema simile sempre con dominiofaidate.
