Il problema sussiste nel momento in cui il file di stile CSS principale (style.css), NON esiste nella cartella principale del tema.
Ad esempio se mettete i files di stile nella cartella /themes/mio_tema/stili/style.css
Il tema non viene più rilevato!
E’ necessario spostare tutti il foglio di stile css in /themes/mio_tema/style.css
A questo punto il tema viene visto da wordpress…ma ovviamente è necessario modificare le chiamate in header.php

Il problema è nato proprio dopo aver creato il nuovo blog ed il tema personale è sparito PER TUTTI I SITI WEB, a partire dal pannello di amministrazione rete. Non viene più visto!

Va usato comunque con molta cautela.
Fate sempre backup di tutto il db prima di apportare modifiche con questo tool.

Entra nel tuo server FTP, fai un backup di tutto su una cartella del tuo pc, quindi: Cancella tutti i file e le cartelle da ftp, TUTTO tranne il file wp-config.php nella root e la cartella wp-content (quest’ultimi li devi tenere).
Quindi ricarica TUTTO WP 3.0.4 ITA via ftp.
A questo punto dal pannello di controllo del tuo dominio (sul sito di Aruba), trova l’opzione “ripristina permessi file/cartelle” ed eseguila. Fa tutto lui.
Entro qualche minuto lo script dovrebbe sistemare i permessi.
Parti da questo, se il problema persiste, specifica esattamente i passi che hai seguito.
Facci sapere.

Dovresti provare a stampare la funzione:
<?php echo date_i18n("H:i"); ?>
per verificare l'orario restituito da wordpress.
Se l'orario restituito per esempio fosse 15:00 , vuol dire che quando aggiorni un articolo impostando la tua ora corrente, del tipo ore 16:00, significa che l'orario del server è giusto ma tu sei sfasato per via del fuso orario.
Quindi in realtà wordpress vede la data che imposti in avanti rispetto al momento in cui aggiorni l'articolo, pertanto invece di pubblicarlo lo mette in status "programmato".
Potrei aver detto una cazzata, ma in questo caso un test lo farei...

Ma credo che l’esempio che hai portato in esame sia un sistema implementato in modo manuale e non tramite plugin.

Può editare, pubblicare e cancellare i propri post e caricare immagini.

Può scrivere ed editare i propri post, ma non li può pubblicare (la pubblicazione deve essere fatta da un Editor o da un Administrator.
Credo tu abbia qualche plugin che interferisce con il sistema di visualizzazione degli articoli in edit.php.
Tra l’altro modificare il file edit.php non è una soluzione del tutto valida, anzi, poichè al prossimo aggiornamento di WP dovresti rifare la modifica sul file.
Ti consiglio di disattivare tutti i plugin che gestiscono i ruoli e di installare questo: Capability Manager 1.3.2
Con esso puoi gestire dal menu Utenti, tutte le capacità ruolo per ruolo ed ottenere il risultato che desideri.
