secondo me e’ sbagliato localhost, ora non sono sicuro ma mi pare che altervista dia un indirizzo diverso da localhost, quindi ti consiglio di controllare quella parte li’, del resto dovrebbe essere tutto ok.
edit: ho controllato e localhost e’ giusto. quindi per esclusione dovrebbe essere un problema momentaneo di altervista, suppongo.

ArturoPartecipantenon so’ se esiste, ma la funzione integrata di wp funziona a meraviglia, tu scrivi i post tutti quelli che vuoi, li programmi che devono essere pubblicati quel giorno a quell’ora e quando avrai programmato tu, PUFF! i post ti compariranno, indipendentemente dal numero di post che dovranno comparire in quel giorno.
ArturoPartecipanteio non ne conosco, ti conviene cercare sul repositori di wp.org poi cforms e’ a mio avviso il migliore, le funzioni ajax le puoi disabilitare non sono indispensabili, per il problema di memoria beh questo dipende dal tuo hosting.
ripeto con tutte le funzione di cforms io non conosco nessun altro plugin.

dalle ultime news che mi ha detto e’ che ci sta lavorando ma avendo ancora una bella mole di lavoro su wp-it i progetti bbpress e wpmu partiranno in autunno, tempo permettendo.

cosi’ come hai fatto in locale.
va bene aruba linux, fai attenzione che sia linux e non windows.
puoi avere gli articoli di wp su una pagina “esterna” residente sullo stesso server, ma la pagina deve avere estensione .php per interpretare il linguaggio, quindi la cosa che devi fare e cambiare l’estensione della tua pagina home.html in home.php.
ti consiglio di fare una ricerca sul forum e trovi tanti esempi, tra cui uno stesso mio su come includere i post su una pagina “esterna” a wordpress.

define(‘DB_HOST’, ‘db4free.net3306’);
cambiarlo con:
define(‘DB_HOST’, ‘db4free.net’);
oltre a cambiare “inserire una frase univoca”.
e naturalmente controllare quello detto da steve.
ArturoPartecipanteti confermo che puoi usare db4free con un installazione di WP su un altro sito, l’ho testato personalmente per fare dei test…
quindi puoi farlo tranquillamente, ricordati che essendo un servizio gratuito, puo’ essere chiuso cosi’ come l’han aperto e perdi tutto…
ArturoPartecipantebbpress non e’ un plugin bensi’ un forum se stante che pero’ puo’ condividere il database utenti di WP.
per quello che vuoi fare tu sei un tantino offtopic, in quanto qui si parla di wp, non di mybb. ti consiglio di chiedere in siti appositi di supporto per mybb.
ArturoPartecipantedb_host con easyphp va bene localhost, in quanto qualsiasi server, che sia virtuale come in questo caso o serio come quello che puo’ essere quello di un sito online, il 99% delle volte hanno localhost per motivi di sicurezza.
