Vi devo delle scuse, mi sono fatto prendere dal panico e non ho riflettuto…Sul mio server stanno passando al php 5.3 e per adesso ci sono rallentamenti/blocchi temporanei. E’ probabile che ce ne sia stato uno proprio mentre dopo aver inviato il commento di risposta WP Super Cache rigenerava la cache. Soluzione: cancellata la cache esistente (danneggiata) tutto è tornato alla normalità .

Dunque sto su TopHost (linux), WP è aggiornato alla 3.11, una decina di plugin installati (ripeto, tutto funzionava alla grande fino a qualche ora fa). Mi rendo conto (da ignorante) che non è uno di quei “classici” problemi che qui risolvete celermente e con estrema cortesia.
Purtroppo l’ultimo backup risale a più di un mese fa altrimenti avrei risolto ripristinando, cosa che comunque farò a malincuore se non riuscirò(emo) a risolvere.

arequipePartecipantePurtroppo nel mio shared-server, ma suppongo in molti, la quantità di memoria utilizzabile dagli script PHP è limitata dall’amministratore per garantire il ‘fair use’ delle risorse condivise, anche se dicessi a WP di provare ad allocare una quantità di memoria superiore ai 32M si scontrerebbe con la policy del php.ini della root al quale io non ho accesso.)
Comunque ho risolto disattivando il plugin più pesante e meno indispensabile che avevo (SlimStat) in modo da consumare meno memoria al momento dell’accesso in bacheca, e adesso funziona tutto regolarmente.

arequipePartecipanteGrazie 1000 per l’aiuto, purtroppo sto su un server condiviso e non posso cambiare le impostazioni sull’utilizzo di memoria di PHP (questa è la soluzione che ho trovato sul forum).
Googlando ho anche visto che
class-simplepie.php
serve per i feed, dei quali peraltro non ho bisogno poichè utilizzo wordpress come sito statico. E' possibile disabilitare questo script?`
