Anche io sto sperimentando un nuovo sito con xampp e wordpress.
Prova a guardare nella cartella locale di wordpress (quella in htdocs->wordpress).
Dovresti avere un file chiamato wp-config-sample.php
Rinominalo, senza usare le virgolette, in “wp-config.php”
Aprilo con il blocco note, queste sono le righe che ti interessano:
// ** Impostazioni MySQL - E' possibile ottenere le impostazioni MySQL dal proprio web host ** //
/** Il nome del database per WordPress */
define('DB_NAME', 'wordpress'); <-nome del database che hai creato da phpmyadmin
/** Nome utente database MySQL */
define('DB_USER', 'admin'); <-nome dell'utente che hai creato nel database
/** Password database MySQL */
define('DB_PASSWORD', 'password'); <-password che hai deciso per l'utente del database
/** hostname MySQL */
define('DB_HOST', 'localhost');
Altrimenti potresti provare a cambiare le voci indicate con quelle di tua preferenza, basta che poi ritorni su phpmyadmin, nel menu PRIVILEGI e aggiungi un nuovo utente con tutti i privilegi inserendo il DB_USER e la DB_PASSWORD che hai usato nel file wp-config.php
La cosa importante è che una volta che hai rinominato il file wp-config.php, il file wp-config-sample.php non sia più presente nella stessa cartella, perchè altrimenti va in conflitto.
