Ciao a tutti,
ho provato per la prima volta a usare WP per creare un piccolo blog.
L’ho installato nel server (utilizzo wamp server 2) e da locale tutto bene!!!
Da remoto invece non riesco a visualizzare il sito mi appare “impossibile visualizzare la pagina”, classica schermata di explorer quando non va.
Mi chiedevo se qualcuno aveva qualche idea o consiglio su come risolvere il problema…

Le informazioni che ci dai sono un po’ scarse.
Il messaggio di errore potrebbe essere anche che il dominio non è ancora attivo.
Oppure che l’URL locale di WP non coincide con l’URL remoto.
Insomma, se ci dai altre info forse possiamo aiutarti. Come hai trasferito il sito da locale a remoto? Quali passaggi hai fatto? Qual è l’URL del sito che devi mettere online?

Si forse non mi sono spiegato benissimo.
Il dominio non dovrebbe aver problemi in quando il blog lo sto caricando all’interno di una rete di circa 10-12 PC, inoltre nello stesso server ho altre applicazioni come phpBB che mi funzionano anche ora correttamente.
Le URL sono corrette, appena ho letto il tuo messaggio sono andato a controllarle..
Per caricare il sito da remoto digito nella pagina web l’indirizzo ip del server, scelgo la cartella di wordpress, la clicco e dovrebbe andare…invece..niente. L’URL da locale sarebbe http://localhost/wordpress…

allora invece di localhost, come URL di WP nelle Opzioni, devi mettere l’IP della macchina su cui hai installato il sito.
Altrimenti gli altri computer della rete cercano ognuno sul proprio localhost.

non conosco nello specifico wamp ma più o meno dovrebbe essere la stessa cosa devi modificaro httpd.conf di apache
io utilizzo come server intranet easyphp 1.8 http://www.wpitaly.it/forum/topic/6771

non è necessariomodificare httpd.conf
basta cambiare le opzioni del blog e mettere come indirizzo del blog l’indirizzo IP della macchina su cui gira apache

Funziona!Anzi “quasi” funziona!Ora non mi prende nessun tipo di tema..nè quello di default nè altri.
Mi metto subito a cercare nel forum se trovo qualcosa…
In ogni caso grazie 1000 sia a “mrbrown” che a “ondapi”.

fammi capire: ti mostra il contenuto del blog (elenco dei post) senza il template, oppure non ti mostra proprio niente e la pagina è proprio vuota??

allora, con il browser guarda nel codice HTML della home page (tasto destro e ‘HTML’ per IE, ‘visualizza sorgente pagina’ per Firefox) e cerca nell head il percorso al foglio di stile ‘style.css’, poi postalo qui.
Oppure copia uno dei link ai post e incollalo qui.

non trova il css perchè lo cerca in localhost
prova a modificare il percorso da relativo ad assoluto

non hai fatto come ti ho detto: nelle opzioni generali del blog, le voci
http://localhost/wordpress/
devono diventare
http://192.168.1.10/wordpress/
192.168.1.10 devi cambiarmo con l’indirizzo IP della macchina su cui hai installato il blog.
