Buongiorno,
volevo capire una cosa. Dovrei installare wp su un server linux aruba ma vorrei che all’indirizzo http://www.blablabla.it ci fosse già l’homepage di wp. Devo installare il contenuto direttamente nella cartella in questione (www.balbalbal.it) o è possibile anche tenere wp separato (www.blablabla.it/wp) e avere comunque la home nel root principale?
personalmente di consiglio la prima soluzione, comunque puoi fare anche con una sotto cartella. nel wiki ed anche nel forum trovi le istruzioni
Questa volta mi trovi in disaccordo wolly, io preferisco metterlo in una sua directory, in questo modo è molto più facile fere la manutenzione, durante l’aggiornamento carichi il nuovo sito parallelamente sul server, e poi trasferisci le cose che devono essere trasportate… e poi in questa maniera riesco a tenerlo logicamente separato dalle altre cose che metto nello spazio web.
