Vorrei che nella home del mio sito venga visualizzato una Pagina, seguita dagli ultimi Articoli pubblicati.
Ho installato il plugin Static Front Page: se lo attivo viene visualizzata solo la pagina denominata “Home”, se lo disattivo vengono visualizzati solo gli Articoli, in ordine di creazione.
Come posso far visualizzare entrambi i contenuti? Cioè la pagina che ho denominato Home + gli ultimi Articoli postati sul sito?

Un po di immaginazione? Non so ad esempio prendendo parte del codice che si trova in index.php atta alla generazione del loop oppure qualche plugin che generi la lista dei post!?

Per generare la lista dei Post non c’è bisogno di nessun plugin, infatti WP di default mostra gli ultimi post nella home del sito. Con il plugin che ho installato invece posso settare una Pagina come pagina iniziale, senza che vengano elencati i Post.
…come posso fare per far visualizzare entrambi? Anche tralasciando il plugin Static Front Page, a livello di codice php, come posso far visualizzare una data Pagina + gli ultimi Post?

Se ho capito bene la tua esigenza, io farei una copia di index.php in home.php, e a questo punto, senza nessun plugin, WP attiverà home.php invece di index.php come pagina iniziale.
Successivamente modificherei home.php per aggiungere tutte le personalizzazioni che vuoi apportare nella pagina iniziale.

Interessante questa discussione… infatti manca la possibilità di avere un articolo fisso in alto, a mo di pagina, e gli articoli che scorrono sotto.

Per fissare un articolo al primo posto, precedendo tutti gli altri, è disponibile il plugin “Adhesive”:

Non l’ho provato personalmente, ma sembra rispondere alla vostra esigenza.

Il plugin non è più presente nel sito dell’autore.
Cercando con Google l’ho trovato su questo stesso forum

L’home del mio sito deve avere una pagina (Pages) sempre al “primo posto”, e poi sotto di essa gli ultimi Articoli (Posts) scritti.
C’è un modo o un plugin?

Finalmente ho risolto! Grazie garrone!
Solo una cosa: tra la pagina statica fissata in alto e gli ultimi post, è possibile aggiungere un divisore con scritto “Ultimi post inseriti” o qualcosa del genere?

scusate se riesumo questo topic ma ho un problema, sto diventando scemo, e sono sicuro che sia solo una cazz..a in pratica voglio metter ein home una parte statica e una dinamica, quindi ho copiato l’index.php e rinominato in home.php modificato la home come voglio e se apro il sito si vede la parte statica e la parte dinamica, ora il mio problema è se io cambio pagina e voglio tornare nella home come faccio??ho provato a scrivere una pagina vuota intitolata home e gli ho messo come template home.php ma nulla….non vedo gli articoli…come devo fare?ho letto in giro che si deve creare un’altra pagina chiamata blog, ma io non voglio avere un’altra pagina blog dove ci sono gli articoli…vorrei avere la parte statica e poi sotto gli ultimi articoli…
so che è un’argomento girato e rigirato ma cercando ho trovato poco…forse sto diventando stupido…

se vuoi richiamare la home, prova ad inserire nel file php che contiene il tuo menù questa stringa:
- ">Home
se la inserisci subito sopra il menù ti dovrebbe comparire sul sito proprio il link alla home!
P.S. per sicurezza ti trascrivo la stringa che richiama il menù
<?php wp_list_pages('title_li=&depth=1'); ?>
