Buonasera a tutti,
dopo aver controllato, letto e cercato di spaccarmi la testa, chiedo un aiuto.
Ho utilizzato il tema free Lensa per costruire un sito. Ho esigenza di togliere nome autore, categoria, iconcine varie da alcuni post, pagine, etc etc…
Ok bene, mi armo di pazienza e perizia (non essendo un super esperto) e arrivo a togliere le relative righe di codice….MA le info restano sulla pagina generica blog, dove si vedono le preview di tutti i post. All’interno del post sono riuscito a trovare e cancellare, ma nella pagina blog zero assoluto. Ho provato a vedere in vari .css ma senza risultato. Avete qualche suggerimento a proposito?

Dovrai togliere i riferimenti all’autore, categoria, ecc… da tutti i file interessati nello stesso modo, non solo da quello relativo ai singoli post se ti interessa toglierli da tutte le tipologie di pagina.
Ma hai fatto un grande errore se hai modificato il tema originale. Ripristina il tema originale e poi crea un child-theme e tutte le modifiche le farai nel tema figlio altrimenti con gli aggiornamenti del tema le perdi tutte.

Prima cosa direi che devo effettuare il passaggio al child: ho dato una occhiata veloce e domani voglio approfondire.
Grazie, mille…sono proprio un neofita…
Per la mia questione principale però credo di non aver capito: o meglio, se il child è “copia” del main, comunque io non ho trovato dove rimuovere autore categorie etc etc dalla pagina “press” (blog).
In ogni caso andrò per gradi e vedrò di creare il child: spero di non perdere o fare casini
