Sto usando Loco-Translate ed ho tradotto un plugin. In locale il plugin risulta tradotto, ho poi copiato i file .po e .mo e li ho messi nella directory del server. Qui, nonostante Loco-Translate abbia trovato i file, non traduce il plugin. I temi sono gli stessi.

I settaggi di Loco-translate in locale e quello sul server, sono uguali.

Ritieni di aver fatto tutto giusto, letto le istruzioni ampiamente disponibili nel web, eccetera, ma senz’altro non è cosà¬.
Non ci sono solo le impostazioni del plugin e i motivi possono esser diversi, dal non aver selezionato la lingua nelle impostazioni di WP (nuova installazione o sito in produzione e funzionante? Altre cose che non dici, che non sono scontate), alla mancanza della cartella di destinazione o dei permessi, o altro. I file li hai messi “nella directory del server”… in quella giusta?
Se non vuoi dare le informazioni necessarie (richieste in apertura di topic nel box qui sotto) scrivi agli autori dei due plugin perché allora il problema che imputi al/ai plugin non può che esser risolto da loro.
E il plugin che vuoi tradurre è quello nel titolo? Perché, dato che la sua traduzione in italiano è già disponibile, cosଠcome la versione direttamente in italiano? (Sempre che tu voglia tradurre in italiano).

Il plugin è quello,, io completato la traduzione, qualche frase. WP è in italiano ovviamente, altrimenti lo vedrei in un’altra lingua. I file ovviamente sono in languages -> loco -> plugin (come in locale). Non so cosa controllare.

Devi controllare d’aver fatto come nelle istruzioni del plugin. Io non lo conosco, e non ho trovato nessun caso come il tuo dando un’occhiata veloce al loro forum di supporto. “languages -> loco -> plugin” … e poi? Sempre approssimativo eh, immagino che dopo plugin ci sarà la specifica di quale plugin, vero, se la destinazione la scegli da bacheca?
Comunque, se vuoi completare/cambiare la traduzione di un tema o di un plugin già tradotto, non ha senso usare un plugin.
Scarichi l’ottimo PoEdit. Con quello apri il file .po da modificare dopo averlo scaricato (anche il .mo) via FTP sul tuo PC, fai le modifiche, lo salvi e lo ricarichi nello stesso posto da cui lo hai scaricato. Sappi però che sarà sovrascritto al prossimo aggiornamento del plugin, ma puoi ovviare cambiando la destinazione (con un po’ di codice), o ricaricando il backup del file.

Queste sono le cartelle wp-content -> languages -> loco -> plugin e dentro ci sono .po e .mo italiani.

Non ha senso. Ha senso:
wp-content/plugins/nome-plugin-tradotto/languages/nome-plugin-tradotto-it.po, o
wp-content/languages/loco/plugins/nome-plugin-tradotto-it.po, o
wp-content/languages/plugins/nome-plugin-tradotto-it.po
più .mo ovviamente.
Continui a non dare le informazioni chieste, non comunichi l’esito delle prove richieste nello stesso box, né gli eventuali errori segnalati dal plugin stesso, permessi eccetera. Ho visto che il plugin ha un suo debug: usalo, inoltre puoi guardare anche il debug del server, potrebbe essere anche mancanza di risorse php o altro. Dopodiché con quelle informazioni apri un ticket con l’autore.

Ho risolto, era la directory, questa è quella corretta (System):
wp-content/languages/plugins/file.po file.mo
La cartella loco l’ho eliminata
