Ho un blog web-hosted.
Ho installato easyphp sul mio computer con php, apache, mysql e quant’altro.
Sotto www ho creato una cartella “wordpress” e ci ho installato la 2.7 in italiano.
Tramite FTP ho copiato tutte le cartelle di wp-content webhosted su wp-content locale.
Ho copiato tutti i fogli di stile hosted sui fogli di stile locali.
Ho copiato tutti i widget hosted nei widget locali.
Poi ho fatto l’export dall’hosted e, risolto anche il problema del max 2MB di import l’ho importato sul locale: mi mancano mezzi posts. Analizzando il tutto ho scoperto che l’export dal web-hosting, esporta fino ad un massimo di circa 10 MB e poi si ferma, quindi non mi esporta i posts più recenti (il blog è grosso).
Allora ho preso il database mysql del web-hosting ed l’ho importato con phpmyadmin sul locale. Non funge più nulla.
Dove sbaglio? Mi potete suggerire una procedura più semplice ed efficace?
L’intento è quello di avere in locale un blog “sincronizzato” con quello web-hosted.

Importando il DB ok… non funge più nulla non spiega assolutamente nulla del problema, è come dire al dottore al telefono non sto bene e su questo pretendere di avere la cura.
Dettagli il non funziona perchè il metodo è quello sato da tutti (me compreso per questo sito e altri) e funziona perfettamente)

Ho downloadato il database dal sito web in formato tar.gz che estratto è uscito un file di oltre 10 MB con estensione .sql, sono entrato in phpmyadmin, ho selezionato il database locale che avevo creato e che avevo chiamato wordpress, poi ho cliccato importa database ho scelto il file di cui sopra che si chiama wrdp1.sql ed ho cliccato esegui, messaggio di importazione eseguita corretamente. Vado nel browser e scrivo localhost/wordpress, mi compare l’header del mio blog ma al posto dei posts compare la scritta “nessun articolo risponde ai criteri di ricerca impostati”.
Chiedo scusa per la poca chiarezza del precedente post

nella directory …cEasyPHP 3.0mysqldatawordpress ci sono tre files wp_options.frm wp_options.MYD e wp_options.MYI che mi sono guardato bene dal toccare.
L’unica differenza che ho notato è che sul web dentro la cartella www ci sono direttamente tutte le directories ed i files (wp-admin wp-content wp-includes + i files) mentre sul mio computer sotto la cartella www cà¬è una sotto-cartella “wordpress” e sotto ancora le directories ed i file /wp-admin wp-content wp-includes ecc.)…per quanto possa valere lo dico.

tabella wp-options = database mysql per modificarla devi accedere al database con qualche strumento tipo phpmyadmin o via linea di comando.

Per essere più sicuro sono entrato in phpmyadmin, ho selezionato il database wordpress ed ho cliccato delete. Poi dal sito web ho riscaricato dal cpanel una nuova copia del dabase mysql, l’ho estratta e poi, sempre con phpmyadmin l’ho importata di nuovo ed ho ottenuto il messaggio di importazione effettuata corretamente. Purtroppo scrivendo nel browser localhost/wordpress ricarica il lay-out, i widget, lavora per un po’ di tempo, ma alla fine i posts non compaiono, compare la scritta “nessun articolo risponde ai criteri di ricerca impostati”.
Situazione irrisolvibile? Grazie.

Ora mi par di capire che invece era quello che dovevo fare, è cosà¬? cioè al posto di http://mioblog.com/ devo scrivere “localhost/wordpress” ?

Ho fatto tutte e due le modifiche con phpmyadmin nella tabella wp-options, ma purtroppo non mi ha risolto il problema.
Un altro suggerimento?

Dovevo modificare anche una terza path, quella degli uploads, ora sembra funzionare, ringrazio di cuore wolly e steveagl

La soluzione più semplice in assoluto è fare una modifica nel file config.php, tanto quel file poi non lo toccherai più, mentre tutte le volte che farai l’importazione del db ti troverai a dover rimettere mano al db stesso.
in pratica si tratta di dare l’url del sito locale in config.php, che viene preso in considerazione con priorità maggiore rispetto a quello che si trova nel DB.
per il parametri giusti cerca config.php sul codex di wp.

Per tenere sincronizzato il blog locale con quello sul web uso FTP per gli uploads, ma per quanto riguarda i posts, l’unico modo è quello di fare tutti i giorni una nuova importazione dell’intero DataBase? Non c’è un modo più semplice?

per rimettere le cose a posto una volta importato il data dai un occhio qua

ma un problema generale che può emergere è il collegamento agli allegati
se il mio sito è installato su google.it e vi carico delle immagini queste andranno in http//google.it/wp-content/uploads/immagine.jpg
una volta che esporto e reimporto il data in locale l’immagine sarà sempre ricercata nello stesso indirizzo, se invece wp utilizzasse un percorso relativo (o ci fosse la possibilità di scegliere) cercherebbe l’immagine in wp-content/uploads/immagine.jpg
questo mi permetterebbe semplicemente di avere una vera sincronizzazione con il mio blog in locale o se domani invece di utilizzare google.it (perchè fa gola a qualcuno) potrei trasferire il sito in wordpress.org senza alcun problema
mi piacerebbe vedere questa funzione nelle nuove versioni di wp

Scusate se posso sembrare la vispa teresa, ma allora, se uno volesse aggiornare il proprio blog in locale e poi trasmetterlo sul web, non c’è da azzardarsi a fare una operazione che presenta, a me sembra almeno, cosଠtantio rischi.

Esatto è una cosa da NON fare perchè troppo complicata.. non ha alcun senso. Io localmente ho una copia dei siti ma solo perchè se cambio qualche cosa aggiungo un plugin etc prima lo provo localmente… ma i contenuti sono gestiti tuttti online.
