Tempo fa ho erroneamente cancellato tutti i file presenti sul mio spazio web.
Per tentare di ripristinare il blog ho installato una nuova versione di WordPress (2.6.1) inserendo come db quello che già utilizzavo (che non è stato toccato) e lasciando intatte le cartelle wp-admin, wp-includes e wp-content (le avevo backuppate).
Il blog sembra avere “riconosciuto” il db, infatti se vado nella pagina di amministrazione vedo tutti gli articoli, se però vado in http://www.alessioproietti.com/wordpress/index.php mi appare la pagina senza però alcun articolo, solo con l’header ed il footer!
Come potrei fare a far ripartire il tutto?

Hai reinstallato e prima Wp stava in una sua directory mentre ora sta nella dir principale?

non puoi mettere una nuova versione di WP pretendendo di mantenere le vecchie directory di amministrazione…
cancella tutto lo spazio web e metti TUTTI i file di WP che hai della nuova versione… dalla vecchia versione ci devi trasportare solamente il tema ed eventualemente la directory degli upload (e se ti servono dei plugin). tutto il resto deve essere della nuova versione….

Ho caricato tutto lasciando intatti i temi ed i plugin ma niente da fare, l’errore è lo stesso!
Quello che fa strano è che è stato più facile installarlo da zero che ripristinarlo!

mi sovvengono un paio di dubbi…
che versione era quella che hai cancellato? se era prima della 2.3 devi aggiornare inizialmente a questa per poter poi aggiornare all’ultima.
comunque mettiamo il caso che l’aggiornamento sia stato fatto correttamente (come versioni):
1) ripristina il DB (spero tu abbia la copia)
2) cancella tutti i file dallo spazio web (dopo aver copiato upload e temi)
3) ricarica una nuova versione di wp nello spazio web
4) controlla che tutti i file siano caricati correttamente
5) ripristina a priori i permessi usando il pannello di controllo del gestore, se ti fornisce la possibilità di farlo
6) configura config.php per accedere al DB
7) lancia l’update.php per aggiornare il DB alla nuova versione
carica il tema e vedi se funziona adeguatamente.
9) carica i plugin e provali uno per uno per vedere se lavorano correttamente.

se hai messo il tuo blog nella directory wordpress hai sbagliato a modificare il file index.php nella root…

Il problema era proprio quello, ora sembra funzionare tutto!

io ho lo stesso problema citato sopra ,pero al contrario suo non ho salvato
nulla.
comunque ora provo a caricare di nuovo il WP 2.5.1 italiano, seguendo le istruzioni .
ho modificato il file wp-config:
inserendo come chiesto
define(‘DB_NAME’, ”); // Nome del database
define(‘DB_USER’, ”); // Il vostro username MySQL
define(‘DB_PASSWORD’, ” // …e la password
define(‘DB_HOST’, ‘89.31.72.30’); // al 99% non dovrebbe esserci necessità di modificare questo valore
ma attualmente quando digito http://www.pesarofabi.it/wp-admin/post.php
non compare nulla,invece con questa operazione come scrivono le istruzioni……
Questa operazione dovrebbe installare le tabelle necessarie per il tuo blog. Se ci sono errori, controlla attentamente il file wp-config.php e riprova. Se l’errore persiste, per favore consulta i forum di supporto italiano riportando il problema nella maniera più dettagliata possibile.
