Ciao a tutti,
premetto che non sono esperto di informatica in generale, ma sto cercando di cimentarmi nel creare un mio sito con wordpress ma non riesco ad installarlo. Ho visto una serie di guide so googlem, anche video, ma ad un certo punto mi sono bloccato. Mi spiego:
Sono arrivato fino al punto di caricare wordpress tramite filezilla sull’hosting (hosting99) poi ho modificato il file wp-config.php inserendo i dati del mysql che ho creato sempre nek pannello cpanel di Hosting99.
Nel momento in cui vado ad inserire il link http://miosito/cartellamiosito/wp-admin/install.php e faccio invio mi compare un errore 404 file not found.
Non so se ho scritto boiate e mi scuoso per questo, spero possiate aiutarmi e soprattutto darmi un consiglio per imparare a fare siti web.

non avrai caricato i file al posto giusto, apri un ticket col tuo fornitore e chiedi dove vanno messi i file perchè siano visibili…

Ho caricato i file cpanel, li vedo, ma dalla procedura di installazione che ho visto online quando vado ad inserire il link che evidenziato nel primo post mi da errore….
Ho già aperto un ticket e mi hanno risposto che wordpress non è supportato con la versione hosting99 pacchetto basic, ma conosco qualcuno invece che lo ha installato (ma usa linux io ho windows, forse è questo il motivo?)

Io utilizzo hosting99 con un sito wordpress senza nessun problema. Ti consiglio di inserire il sito web nella root principale del sito web (la cartella è public_html).
Il servizio che devi sottoscrivere per usare wordpress e un pacchetto hosting plus. Funziona alla grande ed il prezzo è piu basso che di altri server che vanno assai peggio.
