Buongiorno a tutti ragazzi, ho recentemente installato il suddetto plugin, ma quando tento di effettare il backup, mi si apre un pop-up che mi avverte dicendomi che il file di backup nn puo’ essere salvato, e di controllare i miei permessi di scrittura, ma la cosa strana e’ che i gli ho i permessi di scrittura!!!
Cosa altrettanto strana e’ che quando vado a vedere le varie cartelle; quella creata dal plugin, ovvero backup-*, non mi e’ concesso di modificarne i permessi, anche se ha tt i permessi impostati…
Il mio sito e’ ospitato su Hosting Per Te, e utilizzo Plesk per gestire i file, qualcuno sa mica come risolvere questo problema???

hosting per te non lo conosco, per caso il server è configurato con safe mode =on ?
se si il problema lo risolvi cancellando la cartella creata dal plugin e ricrearla tu con i permessi corretti (credo 777) e vedrai che tutto funzionerà .
Personalmente però ti suggerisco di farti spedire per email i backuo magari su una casella gmail, è molto più sicuro avere il backup lontano dal sito.

Su come e’ configurato il server nn lo so, sto aspettando che loro mi rispondano…
Sinceramente ho un problema simile anche quando vado a caricare le immagini. La cartella che viene creata, come gia’ detto, ha tutti i permessi, che pero’ nn sono modificabili da me, ma anche se la cartella che creo da me gli vengono donati tutti i permessi, ho allo stesso modo un errore.
Spero che il supporto di hosting per te mi dia qualche dritta in piu’!

se anche per le immagini hai lo stesos problema credo che il problema sia il safe mode on.
segui il mio consiglio per la cartella backup e funzionerà
.
per le immagini vai in opzioni->varie e togli la spunta da Organizza gli upload in cartelle sulla base di mese e anno

Risolto!
Proprio come mi avevi suggerito, ho cancellato e ricreato la cartella con i vari permessi. Nn capisco pero’ perche’ quando viene creata da WP mi dia questi problemi…
Spero che quelli di Hostin per Te mi spieghino cosa devo fare.
Cmq wolly, anche secondo me l’idea di mandarlo via mail e’ ottima, ma come e cmq il plugin deve scrivere prima il file, era questo il problema

il problema non è wp ma il settings dell’hosting.
anch’io su webperte ho il safemode on e quindi se viene creata un cartella da wp il proprietario della cartella non sei tu ma l’utente root e quindi non puoi farci nulla.
