Ciao a tutti,
con wp 2.5 avevo problemi al Media Uploader poichè quando, dopo l’upload di una immagine, chiedevo l’inserimento nella pagina, la finestra del Media Uploader rimaneva bianca e non veniva effettuato l’inserimento. L’upload veniva però fatto per cui, tramite l’url, la inserivo a mano nella pagina.
Con wp 2.5.1 le cose sono peggiorate: già nella finestrella in cui scegliere il file da caricare ci sono errori di layout (scritte che escono fuori dalla finestra, ecc) e poi, al termine dell’upload, nella finestrella viene visualizzata la schermata di login di wp …

a) hosting, tipologia, sistema operativo del computer etc… non abbiamo la palla di vetro per indovinarle le cose
b) Usi il codice da aggiungere allo .htaccess?

Avevo Next Gen Gallery (l’ultima release) ma ho fatto la prova anche disabilitando il plug.
UPDATE:
ora il problema è tornato ad essere quello vecchio: dopo la selezione dell’immagine (sia caricandola che prendendola dalla galleria) la finestra di selezione rimane bianca e l’immagine non viene inserita.
[N.d.m. Immagine eliminata alla prossima immagine di dimensioni esagerate caricata da te ban di un mese dal forum!]

A) nel post 2.5 e tophost sul blog c’è indicato un codice da aggiungere ad .htaccess, provalo..
provare con altro browser prima di lamentare problemi no? Prova con FF

Aggiungo.. ricaricare tutti i file di WP, perchè è un problema decisamente strano che non appare comune nemmeno sui forum inglesi o sulle ML tecniche.

Ciao Steve,
ho cercato il post di cui mi parlavi.
Ho trovato questo http://www.wpitaly.it/forum/topic/6969?replies=9#post-28343 in cui viene suggerito di installare No Flash Uploader cosa che ho fatto senza successo. Il problema persiste.
Si parla di modifiche all’htaccess ma non ho trovato, esattamente, quale è il codice da mettere … Me lo potresti indicare?
Ho anche ricaricato tutto il wp 2.5.1, effettivamente l’errore di layout è sparito ma persiste quello che dopo che clicco su INSERISCI NEL POST la finestra rimane bianca e l’azione non viene svolta.

Come ti avevo scritto nel secondo messaggio ho già provato con due browser:
browser: ff 2.0.0.14 e IE 7
aggiungo che in ufficio ho anche provato con gli stessi browser ma con Windows Vista.
PS2
Ho visto che mi è stata rimossa l’immagine ma non ho capito il perchè. Si trattava di una url che puntava al mio spazio web dove era storata l’immagine di peso di 19kb. E’ proibito?

b) il plugin no flash uploader ha funzionato a tutti mi pare decisamente strano, ovviamente non hai altri plugin attivi vero?
L’immagine era troppo grande e sballava l’impaginazione ecco perchè. Immagini più larghe di 400px sono deleterie, sopratutto nel prossimo design del sito.
Siccome altri su aruba non hanno problemi non so che dire dovrei accedere direttamente allo spazio web e provare una installazione nuova etc…

-ricaricato tutto wp 2.5.1 sovrascrivendo tutto …
MA … nada!!!
Fallimento su tutta la linea! :'(

1)Il codice htaccess messo con il plugin per disabilitare il flash uploader non serve a nulla, quello serve per usarlo con l’uploader flash
2) sei certo che tutti i plugin sono innocui? Se chiediamo di disabilitarli tutti un motivo ci sarà !
ergo hai fatto una prova mischiando cose da provare in sequenza con calma e pazienza.. quindi hai perso solo tempo. Considera che ci son una marea di utenti su aruba fra cui anche wolly… a cui funziona tutto quindi capirai che aspettare la 2.6 forse è inutile.

1) no la sicurezza assoluta non ce l’ho ma stimavo di essere su buone % per rischiare.
Come prova definitiva allora farò questi ulteriori tre esperimenti:
1 – disabilito tutti i plug
E
1.a provo con codice htaccess e SENZA plug No Flash
2.a provo senza codice htaccess e CON plugin No Flash
ma non subito visto che mi state dando una mano sull’altro fronte non vorrei incasinare il layout … o dici che è meglio farlo subito x vedere se anche l’altro problema è correlato ?

ho appena provato il media uploader e su tutte e due le mie installazioni su aruba linux funziona perfettamente.
il suggerimento è sempre lo stesso :
fate gli aggiornamenti seguendo le nostre guide
provate con plugin disattivati
ricaricate i files cancellando prima i vecchi.

Carissimi,
ho seguito le indicazioni ed effettuato (credo) tutte le prove:
-disattivato tutti i plugin
-cancellato tutto wp ad esclusione di wp-content
-rimesso la wp 2.5.1
fatto le prove:
-senza htaccess e nessun plugin
-con plugin NoFlash e senza htaccess
-con htaccess e senza plugin
e, per eccesso di zelo: con ambedue …
Stesso identico risultato …
Domani provo dall’ufficio (altro OS ma stessi browser …)
