Ho installato NextGen Gallery. Tutto andava bene prima di aggiornare WordPress 3.2.1 e il plugin NextGen gallery Versione 1.8.2 .
In seguito, nella pagina della galleria (http://www.ipr-rimini.it/galleria-fotografica.html) il plugin ha smesso di visualizzare le immagini in Thickbox correttamente. Se la miniatura della fotografia viene cliccata non appare in una popup di Thickbox, ma in una pagina HTML e si deve utilizzare il pulsante “Indietro†per tornare alla galleria.
C’è la possibilità di risolvere?

Sarebbe anche meglio cosà¬, ma la pagina dovrebbe avere un suo template; in questo modo con le immagini aumenteremmo parametri come visite, impressioni, tempo di permanenza sul sito dei visitatori, pagine viste.. Invece con le finestrelle popup nisba.. Ma a tutti i blogger piace cosà¬..
1. Se usi plugin di cache potrebbe essere che va configurato meglio;
2. Rigenerare i permalink. Lo chiede l’aggiornamento di NGG.

grazie per la risposta e le tue considerazioni utili.
Effettivamente a chi mi ha chiesto il sito in WordPress piace l’effetto popup.
Per il momento non so cosa siano plugin di cache, ma studierò (sono inesperta, ma volenterosa).
Per quanto riguarda il secondo punto l’avevo fatto già grazie a te che lo avevi suggerito in un’altra discussione, tuttavia non ho risolto.

Un’altra cosa che puoi fare, se non l’hai già fatto, è controllare in Options-Gallery se “show image browser” è spuntato.
Le opzioni di solito non cambiano con gli aggiornamenti, ma un’occhiata dagliela comunque.

Ciao Titti,
ho spuntato “show image browser” Galleria in modalità navigazione immagine (nessun effetto).
Logicamente la foto non appare in una popup di Thickbox, ma è meglio di prima.

Ti consiglio di guardare il forum di supporto di Nextgen, è molto frequentato ed è facile che qualcun altro abbia avuto il tuo stesso problema dopo l’aggiornamento. Inoltre ci sono le FAQ, ma se non trovi niente chiedi lଠe vedrai che qualcuno ti risponde.
Anzi, di sfuggita mi sembra d’aver visto già nella prima pagina la parola “thickbox”, ma ora io non ho tempo di leggere e non so se è anche il tuo caso.

Ho riscontrato anche io il medesimo problema con NextGenGallery ultima versione e WP 3.2.1 – per risolvere, diciamo temporaneamente, prova ad non assegnare nessun effetto in Gallery/Options/Effects ed installa il plugin Shadowbox JS – sia le immagini della galleria nativa di wordpress che quelle di NextGen Gallery useranno le funzionalità del plugin Shadowbox senza sovrapporsi – per il momento ho risolto cosଠpiù in là vedrò di fare a meno di NextGen – la galleria immagini nativa di wp a mio parere basta ed avanza…

Se non ti piace Shadowbox esteticamente puoi utilizzare alla stessa maniera un altro plugin come Simple Lightbox.

Avevo già cercato nel forum di supporto e nelle FAQ perchè prima di chiedere aiuto provo di tutto. Ho usato il traduttore perchè non conosco l’inglese.

Ho seguito il tuo suggerimento. Va benissimo anche cosଅ magari vedo se si può personalizzare un po’, ma va più che bene.
Certo, spero che il problema sia risolvibile, magari nei prossimi aggiornamenti perchè meno plugin ho più son contenta, tuttavia ora posso continuare a lavorare su altro.

Io ho wp 3.2.1 e NGG 1.8.2 che funziona benissimo. Evidentemente i problemi nascono da configurazioni diverse dei servizi host. Su Dream Host, Media Temple, altri americani ed uno tedesco dedicato (Hetzner) ove le configurazioni le faccio io, nessun problema.

Devi descrivere il tuo problema, dite sempre che è lo stesso ma spesso è diverso, e poi ora Nextgen è alla 1.8.3.
Nemmeno hai detto se è a causa di un aggiornamento di qualcosa.
Disattivare gli altri plugin e mettere tema di default per vedere se il problema persiste è un buon punto di partenza.
Anche fare il piccolo test che offre Nextgen non sarebbe male.

Dunque il problema è che nextgen non visualizza le miniature (thumbs) di conseguenza non vengono caricate le gallerie.
Wordpress: 3.2.1 next: 1.8.3
Stesso risultato anche con tema di default.

Il tuo mi sembra un problema diverso sia da questo topic sia da quello nel link che hai indicato, quindi non capisco perché vai a caso e non fornisci più elementi chiari per capire di che si tratta, anche perché stai lavorando in locale e senza link è dura. E hai provato senza plugin?
Poi genericamente dici che non visualizza le thumbs, ma sono generate?

Il problema non è lo stesso ma è simile, evidentemente mi sono spiegato male. Ad ogni modo ho provato senza plugin. Le Thumbs non sono visualizzate perché non vengono generate, dato che le immagini non vengono correttamente caricate, il problema è legato all’accoppiata wp+nextgen.

Questa cosa che dici non ha senso, Nextgen è un plugin per WP, e funziona benissimo a me e a migliaia di persone.
Non è che ti sei spiegato male, non ti sei spiegato proprio.

Il problema nasce dalla configurazione errata del suo host. Se è in locale idem, non ha configurato il programma in modo corretto.
Oltretutto neanche ci dice quale programma usa per far girare WordPress localmente..
A me risulta che con WAMP ed EasyPHP tutto sia regolarmente funzionante sia con sistema operativo Winzoz XP sia con W7.

quello che posso dirvi è che siete gentilissimi, questo è sicuro.
ad ogni modo lavoro con MAMP (OsX Snow Leopard)
e wordpress con nextgen ha sempre funzionato da quando ho installato la 3.2.1 è sorto questo problema. d’altra parte se cercate sul web ci sono altre persone con il mio stesso problema e che non hanno risolto ancora.
non mi piace la gente che spara sentenze.

Anche in locale l’host va configurato e, se mancanti, servono librerie aggiuntive. Non conoscendo MAMP non posso essere di grande aiuto, ma per le thumbs se manca qualcosa è ovvio che non si generano (nella normalità sono generate subito dopo aver finito il caricamento delle immagini).
La pagina principale del menù del plugin ha un apposito campo con un test (è nella destra), con quello dovresti riuscire a capire che cosa non trova nel server per poter funzionare correttamente.

problema non risolto,se andate su http://www.dimmidisilettere.it e andate alla sezione espositori o galleria fotografica… praticamente ora le thumbs le crea ma quando clicco sulla foto non c’è nessun effetto “lightbox”… odioso.

Nextgen nativamente non supporta l’effetto lightbox, devi cercarne uno tra i plugin del plugin per Lightbox, stessa cosa per Highslide.
Prima però ti consiglio di provare gli effetti nativi: Gallery–>Options–>Effects, se già non l’hai fatto e non ti piacciono
I nativi sono lo Shutter e il Thickbox e secondo me non hanno nulla da invidiare a Lightbox… de gustibus

No ora non ricordo se era lightbox l’effetto ma era uno di quelli simili, avevo nextgen 1.8.2 poi ho aggiornato a 1.8.3 + wp 3.2.1 e non funziona più.

Titti se hai 5 minuti: ho installato la ShadowBox come suggerito da qualcuno qualche post + sopra, ed in effetti ora funziona perfettamente. ti dirò di più, NON selezionando nessun effetto nelle opzioni di nextgen accadeva che si sovrapponeva l’effetto di shadowbox con quello di nextgen, si hai capito bene mi apriva due volte l’immagine sovrapponendo i due effetti. in pratica cliccando sulla prima come a volerla chiudere sotto trovavo l’effetto dello shutter!!!

A parte che il Lighbox è per le foto, non per lo slideshow, mi pare d’aver detto che ci vuole un plugin, quindi è ovvio che non funziona.
Per quanto riguarda il test, pensavo fossi già oltre quello… e che tu avessi già aggiunto le chiamate all’header e al footer

No, in realtà ho capito poco va o non va? E’ impossibile che vada senza aggiungere nessun codice
La sovrapposizione avviene (immagino) perché nativamente non c’è integrazione tra i due… e l’effetto shutter si autoseleziona a causa di ShadowBOx, altrimenti non si seleziona automaticamente con solo Nextgen installato

Facciamo ordine, con solo nextgen e wp 3.2.1 non funziona il “lightbox” chiamiamolo cosà¬, nessun effetto di quelli.
Se invece installo, come è installato ora, shadowbox allora non solo funziona, ma se non seleziono “nessun effetto” apre due volte l’immagine una volta con lo shutter e una con shadowbox l’una sovrapposta all’altra.

Si, in effetti avevo notato anche io la “sovrapposizione” di cui parli – prova ad eliminare il plugin Shadowbox e installa LightBox 2 – non assegnare nessun effetto a NextGen e vedi come si comporta con le gallerie immagini – fai una prova, tentar non nuoce…

Io ho lo stesso problema ed è tutto il pomeriggio che ci sto scancherando e non ci salto fuori.
Ho caricato le immagini e alcune thumb non me le vede, ho provato a cambiere le immagini, ma niente da fare, ho installato shadowbox, ma sinceramente non ho capito bene a cosa serva:

Se non l’hai capito, cosa l’hai installato a fare?
I plugin di effetti sulle gallerie NON servono principalmente per farle funzionare, ma aggiungono solo effetti su gallerie che già devono funzionare
Inoltre, non è cosa molto pratica e utile continuare ad accodarsi a questo topic solo perché il titolo è “Nextgen”, quando i problemi sono diversi.
Consiglio quindi ad Einstein di aprire un nuovo topic spiegando chiaramente il suo problema… e a chiunque capitasse di non postare più qui ogni problema con Nextgen, ma aprire un nuovo topic con il proprio caso (anche se bisognerebbe rivolgersi al supporto del plugin…).
@jp76 hai avuto già tutte le indicazioni, e spero che ora sia chiaro.
