Salve,
è la prima volta che mi trovo a lavorare con wordpress-mu, ho seguito le istruzioni circa i server Aruba chbe ho trovato a questo indirizzo: http://www.paolo.valenti.name/2007/06/27/installare-wordpressmu-su-aruba/
Lo installo e se andate qui qui:

vedete l’errore
Anche se clicko se clicko si log in mi dà questo simpatico errore: http://www.siatec.net/andrea/wordpressmu/wp-login.php
Potrebbe dipendere semplicemente dal fatto che ora come ora non ho dominio di terzo livello attivato? o per voi potrebbe anche dipendere da qualche altro problema?
Per favore fatemisapere se sai qualcosa.

qui non diamo assistenza su wordpressmu.
Se hai letto sul mio articolo wpmu NON funziona con il www.
quindi o server virtuale su aruba o apri un sottodominio.

Sono abbastanza ignorantello…differenza tra sottodominio e server virtuale? Quale conviene dei due secondo te?
Ma è un problema che si ha solo con Aruba o anche con altri server? Ti spiego la persona per cui lo devo installare ha anche un server Tiscali…pensi che se lo installassi là avrei gli stessi problemi o c’è la possibilità che funzioni direttamente?
POer favore fammi sapere qualcosina

wordpressmu è molto particolare.
Devi leggere le caratteristiche di configurazione del server necessarie per il suo funzionamento e chiedere al service provider se sono uguale a quelle dei loro server.
I server virtuali sono ottimi perchè li puoi configurare come vuoi tu e quindi puoi configurarli come richiede wordpressmu l’unico problema è che spesso costano un botto.

Io ho installato WordPressMu nel mio server.
Mi ha dato qualche problema all’inizio ma ho risolto leggendo la FAQ.
1)scompatta i file e trasferiscili nella ROOT del tuo server
2)imposta i permessi a 777 di Public Html e anche sulla cartella Wpcontent
3) collegati al tuosito ( ww w.nomedominio . estensione)
4)compila dei dati(lo auto scriverà ) nome database,nome utente e pass E SELEZIONA LA modalità seconda NON terzolivello.nomesito ma nomesito/terzolivello e passa allo step successivo.
5)Ti verà formita la password autogenerata.Salvala,entra nell’index del sito e usala assieme al nick Admin.MODIFICALA SUBITO DOPO NEL PANNELLO AMMINISTRATORE.
6) rimetti i permessi a 755 nel Public html e wpcontent.
