Ciao
Questo è il mio primo post.
Ho wp e sto cercando di farci un mio tema. Di solito non ho problemi a modificare la grafica ma sto tentando di cambiare proprio l’impostazione. Uso il classic riadattato da me.
Ora non so bene se riesco a spiegare il problema, ci provo.
Allora io ho tre div. Div1 (colonna menu) div2(colonna post) e div3(contenitore).
Div1 e div2 li voglio mettere uno di fianco all’altro, che stiano centrali e dentro al div3 che ha sfondo e bordo.
Ora io riesco a settare tutto bene per impaginare. Tutto con position: relative; e poi percentuali, div1 e 2 con float left e right. E funziona tutto… tranne che il div3 o non c’è o comunque non appare lo sfondo e bordo. Se tolgo il left si incasina tutto ma appare sfondo e bordo.
Sono tre giorni che ci sto dietro e sto impazzendo.
Grazie in anticipo se qualcuno riesce ad aiutarmi.

Forse ho capito male io, ma stai usando sia relative, che il float per uno stesso #div?
Ad ogni modo, in un layout semplice di questo tipo, se vuoi affiancare i due div, basta dargli il float (left o right, dipende come vuoi tu) nella stessa direzione, in questo modo puoi farli appoggiare dolcemente uno all’altro, poi gli dai larghezza, margini, padding e quel che ti pare. a me non piace molto usare relative, se lo uso, lo faccio solo con i micro-contenuti e con layout complessi.
Se magari posti il sorgente e il css, posso capire meglio
