Dopo ke il mio sito è stato sospeso dall’host web4web per aver finito le risorse mi sono trasferito su tophost, solo che non ho potuto salvare il tema e tutto il resto xkè web4web non me lo permetteva.Pensavo che dopo il trasferimento si sarebbe ripristinato da solo ma non è successo!E quando kiedo a tophost come fare che mi rispondono???Che non si occupano di queste cose!!!Fortunatamente utilizzavo il plugin WordPress Backup Database che mi ha salvato articoli e commenti ma il tema purtroppo non me l’ha ripristinato, c’è un modo per ripristinarlo o dovrò fare tutto daccapo?!

Se non hai potuto salvarlo via FTP visto che non sta nel DB e hai solo il backup del db e non dello spazio web.. la risposta è la seconda che hai detto.

Magari chiedendo al precedente host se si può avere un backup del proprio contenuto.. Ovviamente se il tema lo avevi preso da WordPress o altri siti, lo puoi ritrovare, basta sapere il nome. Ma se avevi fatto delle personalizzazioni quelle dovrai rifarle..

Il tema l’ho praticamente creato da solo, ma le modifike ke ho apportato le ho salvate solo fino a 1 certo punto.Ho mandato una mail al precedente host, speriamo ke abbia i file.Pensavo ke il plugin mi salvasse pure il tema

Il database è una cosa e il dominio un’altra.. il primo lo backuppi anche con un plugin e il secondo accedendo da sftp. Se si decide di farsi il proprio sito e non si leggono almeno basilari istruzioni (wiki, ecc.) su come gestirlo, ecco che poi succedono questi problemi. Di certo quell’host ha delle copie di backup, tutto sta a capire se collaborano oppure se ne fregano.
