Ciao a tutti, sto cercando e provando plug-in per video gallery.
L’unico problema e’ che spesso i plugin hanno un limite in upload.
Altri non creano le thumbnail se non c’è installata una libreria.
Il problema principale resta nel fatto che il redattore non e’ colui che ha gli accessi ftp e quindi si deve basare sul plugin stesso.
Ben accetti consigli per un plugin video gallery semplice da implementare senza troppo limitazioni.

Il limite di upload è una questione, di sicurezza, impostata nel server (talune volte modificabile ma ciò dipende dal tipo di hosting); nulla a che vedere con i vari plugin per incorporare video presenti nello spazio del dominio.

I video li potrei caricare via ftp ma resterebbe il problema di come collegarmi ai post o creare cmq delle gallerie.
Il fatto e’ che non sarò io a dover creare questi ma un redattore che non è uno sviluppatore web (vagli a spiegare come si usa un ftp, che deve pensare come creare manualmente il link al video o quant’alto)
Fosse per me potrei anche non usare un plugin e farmi un widget con jquery per predere dei video da una cartella che dico io.
Dovrei solo avere l’accortezza di dare un nome alle cartelle e ai fils ma questo non lo può fare chi non ha mai messo mano al codice.

Prelevi il file “WordPress 3.3.1 Extra Pack in italiano”, lo scompatti in locale ed installi il plugin “Add From Server”; i video li carichi da FTP in una cartella appositamente creata (qualsiasi dimensione essi abbiano), poi con il plugin li sposti* dalla directory nella cartella /uploads/2012/xx (xx sta per il mese corrente).
Il redattore vedrà cosà¬, nell’elenco dei “Media” alla voce “Libreria” quelli che attraverso il plugin gli hai reso disponibili (senza dover mettere mano a nulla che riguardi FTP, server, ecc.).. Ed in pratica potrà inserirli negli articoli con lo stesso sistema che già conosce per le immagini, ovvero l’apposito pulsantino sopra all’editor.
sposti* = In verità il plugin non sposta ma ne fa una copia; pertanto la directory appositamente creata ogni “tot” di tempo potrai svuotarla, per non vederla crescere a dismisura.

Ho trovato alla fine questo plugin che permette di creare i video senza upload.
Mandando via ftp i video li ritrova in automatico dando il path dove vengono storati.

Unica cosa non fa in automatico le thumb, bisogna associarne una o sceglierne una di defautl
