Ciao, mi sapete consigliare un plugin che mi permetta di far scorrere le mie immagini che carico in una determinata pagina?
Ho provato zenphoto, ma a quanto pare devi inserire una url e quindi non posso caricare le mie immagini direttamente sul sito.
Ho provato anche wordpress flippingbook… ma non posso modificare le dimensioni delle immagini e quindi risultano in piccolo e per vederle bene devi zummare, e in più è una demo, e se vuoi utilizzarlo a pieno devi comprarlo, credo.
quindi starei cercando qualcosa di semplice ma pratico.

Flipping Book è libero e scaricabile, e non è vero che non si possono modificare le dimensioni, ma non credo sia quello che fa per te. Io l’ho usato per un bel po’, dà qualche piccolo problema, quindi non te lo consiglio. Hai l’occasione per usare un po’ la dashboard… plugin, aggiungi nuovo, tag o termine slideshow, slider, gallery, o quello che vuoi… e ti renderai conto di quanti ce n’è. Il migliore è Nextgen gallery.

Si infatti ne ho provati diversi facendo come hai detto tu, e per ora il migliore è proprio Nextgen gallery, ha molte opzioni di configurazione ed è molto funzionale, ha solo una pecca per quanto riguarda lo slideshow, dove non sò se è risolvibile.
Se per caso te ne viene in mente uno simile a nextgen o migliore, fammelo sapere.

e che quando faccio partire lo slideshow, non parte subito, ma si sofferma per alcuni secondi sulla prima immagine della gallery, poi aspetti qualche secondo e poi parte lo slideshow, partendo però sempre dalla prima immagine.
Mi sono espresso bene?

Bisognerebbe almeno vedere l’errore dal vivo, e comunque un ritardo può essere dovuto a tanti fattori, che possono andare dalla configurazione del plugin ad altre cause esterne

ok allora, riepilogando: Io ho provato cu3er e l’ho trovato molto carino, il problema sta che è a pagamento. Allora se devo pagare preferisco utilizzare GRAND Flash Album Gallery che è molto funzionale, anche se non sono sicuro che comprando la skin della galleria, poi il logo della loro ditta produttrice non si veda più.
comunque ho disistallato tutto e reinstallato, ho riprovato Nextgen, e sia i thumbnails e lo slideshow funzionano bene. L’unica cosa se uso l’opzione view browser, non riesco a ridimensionare le immagini, cioè io vado nelle opzioni e cambio i valori, ma non vedo nessun cambiamento.
Aspetto delucidazioni su questo aspetto. Grazie mille intanto.

Cosa intendi per ridimensionare, vorresti che quando l’immagine si apre in modalità “image browser” appaia com’è attualmente o più piccola?

Più piccola, avendo un tema a due colonne, la pagina non è molto grande e quando uso image browser, le immagini escono di poco dalla pagina. quindi vorrei rimpicciolire l’immagine in modo da farla star dentro alla pagina.

Allora devi cercare, nel CSS della galleria, il punto in cui si definisce “.ngg-imagebrowser img”, e là dove c’è width 100%; sostituire con quello che vuoi tu, ad esempio width: 250 px;
Prendine nota, oppure fai copia del file (prima e dopo), perché quando il plugin verrà aggiornato perderai la modifica.
Oppure metti una copia modificata tra i fogli stile del tuo tema, cosଠnon la perdi.

Ok ottimo! ho fatto la modifica ora va bene!
Per quanto rigurda l’aggiornamento del plug-in, se ci sarà in futuro dici? che perdo la modifica?
E quindi non ho ben capito dove dovrei fare copia? come?

Copia del file che hai modificato, tenendolo all’interno della cartella del tuo backup aggiornato, o a parte per ricordartelo.
Dopo che avrai fatto l’aggiornamento del plugin (quando uscirà il prossimo), sostituirai nella cartella del plugin il file originale con quello modificato.
Se hai buona memoria puoi anche ricordatelo a mente ma dubito che agli inizi si ricordino certe cose.
Le copie dei file si fanno via FTP (e anche le modifiche andrebbero fatte via FTP).
