Ciao a tutti ragazzi!
Mi presento su questo forum, permettendomi di introdurre il mio nuovo e primo plugin sviluppato da me per inviare newsletter e gestire mailing list in wordpress.
Il plugin si chiama Sendit e permette di inserire facilmente una form di iscrizione su un post / pagina tramite un tag speciale, oppure di inserire il widget con la form di iscrizione sulla sidebar.
Dal lato wp-admin invece possiamo creare 2 liste: tenendo conto che la prima è la lista di default dove si aggiungeranno gli indirizzi email dal sito e le altre possoo essere usate come test o come newsletter.
Si possono aggiungere indirizzi email dal wp-admin e inviare email in formato html.
Si possono pesonalizzare la header e la footer e costruire delle newsletter davvero belle e ricche di contenuto!(logo css personalizzati link e immagini)
Il plugin è alla sua nascità e lo considero una beta in continua evoluzione. E’ stato scaricato 74 volte da circa 15 giorni e moltissima gente si è iscritta alla mia newsletter mostrando un notevole interesse, quindi come inizio mi sembra buono.

Ciao bulini.
Il tuo plugin è fantastico!, facile e intuitivo ma mi crea un problema.
Io uso Wp 2.5.1 e il mio blog è http://www.milano20145.it
Ho fatto tutto quanto suggerito sul tuo blog senza incontrare difficoltà , ma quando invio la newsletter
> arriva solo su alcuni indirizzi della mailing list (per esempio una mail che ho su alice non la riceve)
> se apro la mail non c’è il testo

Mi pare strano perchè comunque la mail arriva, ma manca il testo della newsletter….e il mitico bulini deve essere ancora in vacanza

Paola hai controllato che non sia un problema della casella email?
probabilmente non è abilitata a ricevere email in formato html
comunque grazie per il plugin è il migliore per le newsletter anche se qualche provider spedisce le mail in spam

Ciao ragazzi e grazie per il supporto!
Ho letto anche le vostre segnalazioni via email, ma solo oggi sono tornato operativo.
Per quanto riguarda il discorso di alcune email che non lo ricevono, credo sia legato proprio allo spam, ovvero provider come hotmail (provato personalmente) non ricevono bene le email inviate in massa da domini non popolari.
Per le mail vuote di contenuto, credo sia sempre dovuto alle impostazioni delle email che non ricevono in formato html (ci sono alcune webmail antiche come squirrel che ancora non accettano messaggi in formato HTML.
Provate ad agire sulla configurazione del mittente da “Visualizza opzioni Sendit” e provate a mandarle da un indirizzo del tipo noreply@dominio.com in modo da rendere più credibile l’invio.
Colgo l’occasione per annunciare la nuova release di Sendit disponibile a breve e scaricabile sempre dal mio blog Temi WordPress wp mailing list Plugin.
La release sarà la 1.1 e sempre stimolato dai suggerimenti e dai commenti sul mio blog ho aggiunto le seguenti funzioni e sistemato alcuni bug:
- Corretta visualizzazione dell’ editor nice edit com funzionalità avanzate
- Possibilità di importare le email dai commenti del blog
- Inserimento di email multiplo (finalmente )

Ciao Wolly! Intanto mi sono iscritto alla directory extend di WordPress.
L’unica cosa che vorrei fare prima di rendere il plugin scaricabile dalla directory extend è tradurlo in inglese e cercare di attenermi il più possibile alle specifiche richieste per essere “ospitati” li.
Se qualcuno sa suggerirmi su come internazionalizzare il plugin o qualcke link / risorsa sull’argomento è il benvenuto.

SI il plugin per essere accettato credo debba essere in inglese ed eventualmente internazionalizzato e conla localizzazione in italiano, poi se alleghi il pot indicando di mandarti le traduzioni molti ti forniranno file di lingua..

Ragazzi da oggi rendo finalmente disponibile la versione 1.2 di Sendit come promesso.
Ho risolto moltissimi bug e finalmente ho reso possibile l’importazione delle email dai commenti, e l’invio dei post tramite il plugin.
Invito tutti a scaricarlo e a farmi avere commenti e feedback sul funzionamento.
Su suggerimento di SteveAgl ho finito anche l’internazionalizzazione rendendolo localizzabile in base alla lingua di wordpress.

Invitare a scaricare è una cosa, e mandarmi due email non richieste nella mia casella di posta è un’altra.
Non ricordo di essermi iscritto a nessuna newsletter che riguardasse ‘Sendit’, per cui ti prego di rimuovere il mio indirizzo dalla lista.
Perdona la franchezza, il tuo plugin sembra un buon prodotto e ti faccio i complimenti, ma spammare non ti aiuta a promuoverlo nel modo migliore.

Ok ti chiedo scusa!
Ho utilizzato la funzione di importazione email dai commenti e l’80% dei commenti erano al post relativo a Sendit.
Rimuovo subito il tuo indirizzo e rinnovo le mie scuse. Per la doppia email argh.. è stata una mia svista.

diciamo che la funzione di importazione delle mail dai commenti è molto rischiosa perchè se io commento da qualche parte e mi trovo automaticamente iscritto a qualche mailing list la prima cosa che faccio e premere il pulsante spam la seconda parte la denuncia alla postale e al garante della privacy.
Il fatto che uno commenti su di un blog non significa che voglia ricevere mailing list o altro.
fai molta attenzione a quella funzione.

Oltretutto anche l’invio di una mail di opt-in non richiesta per chiedere se si vuole essere inseriti in una mailing list è considerato spam.
DIrei che è una funzione da eliminare, che appare “figa” ma poi genera molti casini.
Per il resto se scrivi un articolo in stile WPIT allegando qualche screenshot etc sarò lieto di pubblicarlo, basta scrivermi usando il form contatti e ti rispondo quale email usare (da non isnerire in alcuna lista… io scrivo agli abuse spesso… e spesso mi dan retta )

Allora datemi un parere su questo cambiamento che vorrei implementare:
Importare le email dehgli “utenti” cioè di chi scrive o si registra sui blog che lo permettono, visto che mi era stato suggerito anche nei vari commenti al mio post.
Voi cosa ne pensate? Io penso che sia più corretto e poi in fin dei conti credo che il mio sia solo uno strumento, che utilizzato con discrezione e nel modo giusto possa tranquillamente rivelarsi utile!

Penso che anche in questo caso ci debba essere l’esplicito consenso dell’utente per essere iscritto *anche* alla mailing list, nonostante sia iscritto al blog e che, quindi, si possa considerare utile anche l’iscrizione alla mailing list.
La stessa cosa è opzione facoltativa anche nei forum e in siti che richiedono l’iscrizione: è come l’autorizzazione al trattamento dei dati personali per inviare messaggi informativi e pubblicitari, mi pare che sia proprio richiesto dalla legge sulla privacy.

Importare le email dehgli “utenti” cioè di chi scrive o si registra sui blog che lo permettono, visto che mi era stato suggerito anche nei vari commenti al mio post.
Ok, ma comunque prevederei un check box nel form dei commenti dove uno accetta di essere eventualmente iscritto alla newsletter del sito e magari con un paio di righe di testo che spiegano bene cosa succede se uno seleziona quel campo.
Il problema però è che quell’utente magari dopo un po’ di tempo può dimenticarsi di avere dato l’ok o potrebbe non essere più interessato. Nel primo caso te la caveresti skippando i commenti più vecchi di una certa data, diciamo 6 mesi. Nel secondo caso non so, dopo l’importazione la newsletter potrebbe inviare un messaggio agli iscritti per far confermare l’iscrizione, ma come dice Steve “l’invio di una mail di opt-in non richiesta per chiedere se si vuole essere inseriti in una mailing list è considerato spam.”

ciao, io ho trovato molto utile il tuo programma ma solo come newsletter, non come mailing list. Nel senso che come mailing list non mi funziona proprio, se uno risponde risponde solo a me non a tutti gli utenti iscritti. Premetto che sono un ignorante informatico e magari sto facendo qualche errore grossolano, ma dove sbaglio??
