Salve a tutti,
segnalo il rilascio di due plugin per WP da me scritti:
Quoter aggiunge un link ai commenti che permette agli utenti di quotarli, in modo simile ad un forum. Le citazioni vengono precedute da informazioni sul commento originale (autore, data, URI…). àˆ anche possibile quotare altre parti di testo (del post, ad esempio) attraverso una funzione aggiuntiva.
Parent Pages elenca le pagine madri di una sottopagina, in modo da creare barre di navigazione o altri tipi di menu.
Entrambi i plugin sono totalmente configurabili nelle Opzioni e l’aspetto dell’output è facilmente personalizzabile tramite fogli di stile.
Ovviamente commenti, suggerimenti, richieste d’aiuto, segnalazioni di bug e quant’altro sono ben accetti

Internazionalizzati e localizzabili?

Non ancora, ma è una cosa che ho intenzione di fare presto.
In ogni caso il testo di Quoter è personalizzabile (e quindi traducibile) direttamente dalle Opzioni (“Quote” > “Quota”, “wrote:” > “ha scritto:”, “Quote selected text” > “Quota testo selezionato” e cosଠvia).

Vorrei segnalarli sul blog, ma non so se sia meglio aspettare che li rilasci in versione localizzabile…

Magari, vista la natura del sito, è meglio aspettare le versioni localizzate: mi ci metterò al lavoro già in serata e non dovrebbero richiedere molto tempo.
Ah, alcune piccole cose nelle opzioni di Quoter sono già localizzate (quelle che ho potuto tradurre dal file di localizzazione di WordPress).

I plugin non devono fare riferimento al file di localizzazione di WP per la localizzazione delle stringhe, ma devono caricare all’inzio un proprio namespace e per i plugin WP cercherà il file di lingua che abbia il formato: nomeplugin-xx_XX dove per xx_XX si utilizzerà il valore impostato per la lingua in wp-config. Per farlo si usa la funzione: load_plugin_textdomain

Grazie Steve, ma ne ero al corrente
Per la release iniziale ho semplicemente utilizzato alcune frasi già esistenti nel file di lingua di WP (piccolezze come “Output”), sapendo bene che questo non vuol dire localizzazione, anche perché è impossibile – ovviamente – tradurre frasi non presenti in un file di lingua che serve ad altri scopi.
La versione localizzata naturalmente avrà i propri .mo e .po (e magari troverò volontari per tradurla in lingue diverse dall’italiano e l’inglese)…

Li trovi nei link postati dllo stesso autore nel prio articolo di questo thread, inoltre i link vngono dati anche nell’annuncio fatto sul ns. blog, basta cercare, leggere…

I file per la localizzazione sono contenuti negli .zip dei plugin. Qualora, in un ipotetico futuro, le localizzazioni dovessero aumentare, appesantendo troppo i file, le metterò a disposizione per il download separato.
