Ciao a tutti,
al lavoro mi hanno incaricato di effettuare delle modifiche/aggiunte al sito aziendale fatto in wordpress.
Ho aggiunto articoli, pagine e voci di menù, fin qui tutto liscio.
O meglio, tutto liscio se sono loggato come amministratore infatti tutte le modifiche da me fatte riesco a visualizzarle solo se sono loggato come admin.
Se esco e visualizzo il sito come utente non registrato vedo il sito com’era prima delle mie modifiche.
La cosa curiosa però è che questo accade solo se il sito lo visualizzo da pc perchè da telefono anche se non sono loggato come admin lo vedo correttamente con le mie modifiche.
Mi sembra una cosa cosଠassurda e non riesco a venirne fuori.
Premetto che pensando si trattasse di cache ho installato il plugin per svuotarla ma non è cambiato nulla. Anche perchè ho provato su dei pc che non avevano mai aperto il sito prima delle mie modifiche.
Sapreste darmi qualche consiglio/suggerimento?

La cache al 99,9%.
Nient’altro da dire, almeno finché non fornisci le indicazioni necessarie richieste nel box bello grande qui sotto.
P.S.: Un plugin di cache si installa per fare la cache. Non ci sono plugin appositi per svuotare la cache, dato che WordPress non ha cache non ce n’è bisogno.
Poi c’è la cache del browser, che è altra cosa. Ma dato che non hai messo nemmeno l’URL…

In effetti ho molta confusione riguardo alla cache.
Pensavo che installando il plugin WP Fastest Cache avrei potuto svuotare la cache di wordpress e vedere cosଠle ultime modifiche fatte senza il rischio che andasse a prendere situazioni antecedenti.
Il dubbio però mi è salito quando ho fatto aprire il sito ad amici che non l’avevano mai visitato e anche in quel caso le modifiche (come utente non loggato) non si vedevano.
Ribadisco che invece da mobile è tutto ok.
Purtroppo chi ha creato tutto ciò ora non lavora più qui e non ho molte informazioni in merito come per esempio dove è ospitato il sito e su che tipo di server o altro.
La versione wordpress è la 4.5.3.

Hai attivo un plugin di cache che si chiama Super-Cache. Svuota completamente la sua cache, poi disattivalo.
Se poi penserai di eliminarlo, devi leggere le sue istruzioni su come fare.
Idem per quel plugin che hai inutilmente installato, WP Fastest Cache, assicurati di aver tolto ogni residuo.
PS: e fatti dare le informazioni necessarie, non per noi, ma per gestire il sito. àˆ impossibile amministrarlo senza sapere l’hosting e le credenziali FTP, pannello di controllo, ecc.
Inoltre dovresti conoscere i plugin che usi.

Mi hai salvato.
Avevo visto il plugin super-cache ma era disattivato e non pensavo potesse dar fastidio.
Ho provveduto a rimuoverlo semplicemente con il tasto cancella e tutto è filato liscio.
Ora il sito è perfetto.
Per i dati ftp e database è da un pò che gli ho richiesti, spero me li facciano avere a breve.
Ti ringrazio davvero tanto.

Perché le regole che scrive fisicamente dentro l’.htaccess rimangono presenti, anche se disattivato.
Era prevedibile che cancellando il plugin la cosa si risolvesse, ma come detto per rimuovere completamente un plugin di cache occorre far altro. Da quel che dici pare che tu non l’abbia nemmeno riattivato per cancellare la cache, come ti avevo detto di fare.
Se vuoi ripulire completamente il sito dal plugin devi seguire le istruzioni di cui parlavo.
Occorrono le credenziali FTP.
Io capisco che a chi scrive qua importa prima di tutto la sparizione “visiva” del problema, però bisognerebbe anche leggere le risposte fino in fondo, sono solo due righe.
Lo dico senza polemica, perché capita spesso ed è capitato anche ieri con un altro utente…

Capisco perfettamente quello che intendi e accetto la critica perchè me la merito.
Avevo capito che dovevo attivarlo, accedere in ftp rimuovere fisicamente la cartella con i contenuti rivedere l’.htaccess e solo dopo rimuovere il plugin ma purtroppo i dati di accesso non li ho ancora e entro domani in riunione dovevo aver risolto il problema altrimenti…
Sono il primo a cui non piace “arronzare” ma capire e risolvere i problemi per quello che sono ma mi è capitato più volte nei vari lavori che ho svolto che si dava più importanza al risultato anche se sono il primo a non pensarla cosà¬.
