Salve ragazzi!
Io ho aggiornato il mio blog dalla 2.3 alla 2.5 (Tutto ok) lasciando il “vecchio” wp-config.php.
Adesso stavo facendo un’installazione “nuova” in locale ed ho notato nel file wp-config-sample.php questa nuova porzione di codice:
// Modifica SECRET_KEY in una frase unica. Non la si dovrà ricordare in seguito,
// quindi fatela lunga e complessa. Si può visitare https://www.grc.com/passwords.htm
// per avere una frase generata automaticamente per voi, oppure createne una voi.
define(‘SECRET_KEY’, ‘inserire una frase univoca’); // cambiare in una frase univoca.
Ho cercato in giro ma non ho trovato info utili al riguardo quindi chiedo a voi:
“cos’è questa SECRET_KEY”???

Serve per aggiungere un’ulteriore complicazione al nuovo sistema di codifica delle password e dei coockie introdotto con WP 2.5
Capisco grazie, strano però non ne abbiano parlato affatto (ne indicato nelle istruzioni per l’update)
Effettivamente è stata una novità passata quasi sotto silenzio ma che invece è importantissimo usare per migliorare la sicurezza del proprio blog. Con la 2.5.1 infatti verrà probabilmente introdotto un sistema che se la chiave non viene cambiata dall’utente se ne usa una generata internamente e basata su altri dati meno casuali ma che comunque garantiscono una buona qualità della chiave stessa.
