ho scaricato word press e sto per creare il mio primo blog…
ho una domanda da chiedervi che riguarda la gestione delle pagine.
Io volevo creare una lista di pagine ma nn voglio che nella home page compaiano tutte. Volevo creare delle pagine che sono visibili solo nel momento in cui ci clicchi. é possibile?

Io ho lo stesso problema, ad esempio vorrei creare una pagina da linkare nel menu in alto (uso il tema connection) ma non vorrei farla comparire nella sidebar, c’è un modo per escluderla? cecando ho solo trovato come non mostrare delle categorie nei link, pensavo a qualcosa di simile indicando il numero delle pagine da non far comparire…
P.S. (forse OT) c’è una qualche guida in italiano per creare template di pagina e su come usarli? per ora ho trovato solo in inglese

La seconda domanda è perchè ho creato un paio di template che vorrei usare pensando di “aggirare” il problema visto sopra, ma non riesco a capire come dovrei richiamarli da un “pulsante “per vizualizzarli.

Ok, ho letto per ore la documentazione, ma non ho trovato quello che cercavo.
Molte cose utilissime, credevo anche di aver risolto con la funzione “include”, ma ho scoperto che non fa al caso mio, in quanto mi da solo errori.
dunque, probabilmente, mi sono spiegato male. se andate sul mio blog, troverete in alto varie voci: home, gallery, links, about me e contact. clikkando su links e about me, vorrei che comparissero delle pagine “speciali”, con il tema e le caratteristiche di una pagina interna al blog (tipo sidebar) ma esterne alle normali pagine del blog. ho quindi creato due template, uno per i links ed uno per la mia pagina personale (about me) ed ora vorrei farli vizualizzare come un link diretto.
pensate sia possibile implementare qualcosa del genere, o mi conviene creare delle pagine statiche xhtml rinunciando a sidebar e & co.?
alternativamente è possibile creare delle pagine normali senza farle comparire nella sidebar?
spero di essermi spiegato meglio e di non aver postato baggianate per il non aver capito le istruzioni sul wiki…

Non hai cercato bene… avevo detto di cercare i marcatori dei template…

wp_list_pages() ha un parametro exclude: Lista separata da virgole degli ID numerici delle Pagine da escludere. Esempi: ‘exclude=10, 20, 30’). Non c’è un valore predefinito.
Questo non fa quello che vuoi tu? Nella sidebar dove viene fatto l’elenco pagine troverai questo marcatore, basta modifirlo per escludere le pagine che desideri.
