Ho la versione 2.3.2 di WordPress e, improvvisamente da sabato, non si riesce più a commentare né riesco a pubblicare nuovi post. Per quanto riguarda i commenti una volta inserito il testo e schiacciato “pubblica”, il commento semplicemente non compare; più o meno la stessa cosa avviene per i post. Ho provato a cambiare il tema, ma il risultato era lo stesso. Ho provato a re-installare wordpress ma nulla è cambiato. I plugin che utilizzavo erano pochi e tutti compatibili con la versione di WP. Tra l’altro dall’ultimo commento che è stato lasciato (cioè sabato all’una di mattino) a quando mi sono accorto del problema (verso sera) non ho fatto nulla (né nuovi post, né modifiche al tema o al blog in generale). A questo punto non so proprio più che cosa fare, visto che ho provato tutto quello che rientrava nelle mie limitate conoscenze. L’indirizzo del blog è http://www.signorponza.com. Grazie a chiunque mi possa aiutare a capire dove nasce il problema e, nel caso, come risolverlo.

Ho appena fatto anche un tentativo di pubblicazione con Windows Live Writer e questo è il messaggio di errore che è comparso:

Invalid response document returned from XmlRpc server
Non so se possa servire a capirci qualcosa.

Hai disattivato tutti i plugin e riprovato ?
prova a ripristinare i permessi da pannello di controllo.
Se tutto questo non funziona prova a cancellare tutti i files eccetto htaccess, wp-config e la wp-content e riulpoda tutto

Intanto ti ringrazio Wolly per l’aiuto che mi stai dando. Ho provato con i plugin attivati e disattivati e non ho notato cambiamenti. La cosa dei permessi da pannello di controllo non credo di aver capito di che cosa si tratti (o più semplicemente non sono in grado di farla). Tuttavia, entrando nel pannello di controllo del mio spazio web ho notato che lo spazio occupato dal database è in esaurimento… Può essere connesso il problema? Nel caso come faccio a ridurre lo spazio utilizzato?
PS: Avevo già provato a cancellare i files e ri-uploadarli. Ora provo a rifarlo nel caso in cui avessi sbagliato qualcosa prima.

senza dubbio se il datababse è pieno no può aggiungere più nulla.
per ridurlo puoi vedere di ottimizzare le tabelle da phpmyadmin ma otterresti poco a meno che tu non abbia dei plugin di statistiche che registrano i dati dentro nel database tipo php-stats e se fosse il caso ti suggerisco di eliminare quei plugin e le relative tabelle (come ho fatto io).
Altrimenti dovresti comprare altro spazio db dal tuo fornitore di servizi.

Probabilmente era quello, ma non ne ho la certezza. Purtroppo avevo già fatto casino col database, il backup non funzionava e quindi era tutto piuttosto sputtanato. A quel punto ho deciso di ri-installare il tutto e di creare un nuovo database. Si ricomincia da zero.
Grazie infinite in ogni caso per il supporto e i consigli.
