Ciao a tutti,
ho un sito che utilizza WordPress 4.3 ed il tema ThiryTen ed i seguenti plugin: Adminimize, Akismet, Cookie Law Info, Dynamic Widgets, Fast Secure Contact Form, Google Analytics by Yoast, Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions, Really Simple CAPTCHA, TinyMCE Advanced, Under Construction, WordPress Database Backup, WP Favicon, WP Lightbox 2, WPtouch Mobile Plugin. Ho già provato disattivando tutti i plugin ma niente, tra l’altro tutti i plugin sono in funzione da tempo. L’aggiornamento a WP 4.3 è avvenuto in seguito per tentare di risolvere il problema quindi non credo che possa dipendere dall’incompatibilità di alcuni plugin con l’ultima versione. Ad ogni modo ho fatto comunque il tentativo.
Il mio problema è che da qualche giorno non riesco ad aggiornare i post esistenti o a pubblicarne di nuovi. Mi spiego meglio: cambio una parola in un post ma dopo aver cliccato su aggiorna torna di nuovo com’era in precedenza. Se pubblico un nuovo articolo o una nuova pagina viene pubblicato correttamente con il titolo che ho inserito ma il contenuto che avevo scritto non viene visualizzato per cui l’articolo risulta vuoto.
Sto andando letteralmente al manicomio. Per modificare un post l’ho dovuto fare direttamente dal DB tramite phpmyadmin.

Grazie per la rapidissima risposta. Il DB è di soli 6 MB… Per scaduto che intendi? A livello hosting? Mi scade a novembre…

Controlla, potresti avere il rinnovo del database separato dallo spazio server, e quindi confonderti con quello.
Altre possibilità non me ne vengono in mente al momento, oppure sono piuttosto rare, come il database corrotto (puoi comunque provare a riparare le tabelle con phpmyadmin), tempo d’esecuzione sul server ridotto o altro problema di configurazione (eventualmente chiedi all’host e/o guarda il log degli errori)…

Purtroppo non ha scadenza separata. Proverò a chiedere al gestore perché ho già provato a riparare le tabelle. Grazie

Diamine l’hosting mi dice che non risulta niente da parte loro… Ma se creo un altro database e trasferisco tutto su quello?

risolto. la pagina che tentavo di aggiornare conteneva un testo troppo lungo… sto cercando di appurare quale sia la massima dimensione di un post. Se qualcuno lo sapesse me lo potrebbe dire gentilmente? Grazie

WP non pone limiti alla grandezza di un post (o di un upload), su questo sono sicura. àˆ la configurazione PHP sul server che può considerare diversi limiti, a seconda dell’host.
àˆ un problema che non ho mai sentito, quindi o l’articolo è davvero molto grosso (e in questo caso potresti spezzarlo in due o più parti con il <!–nextpage–>, trovi l’icona nell’editor) rispetto al valore imposto, oppure il limite post_max_size (anche se non sono sicura si tratti di quello) sul server è ridicolo; mediamente s’aggira sui 32-34 MB; controlla quindi il tuo valore con un file <? phpinfo(); ?> oppure chiedi informazioni al tuo host.
