Salve amici, in questi giorni un mio cliente a cui ho installato WP, è entrato nel pannello per inserire nuovi contenuti e avendo notato che era disponibile l’aggiornamento di sicurezza di WP ha pensato bene di procedere. Purtroppo non ne capisce un H di queste cose ed ha combinato un guaio. WP si è aggiornato a metà secondo me ed ora andando alla pagina del sito viene mostrata la pagina di errore 500, mentre se si va nel pannello admin, viene mostrata la pagina che WP deve aggiornare il DB alla nuova versione. Il problema è che cliccando sul pulsante di aggiornamento DB non accade nulla
Avete qualche consiglio da propormi?
Vi informo che non dispongono nemmeno dei backup del DB xè le email che gli arrivano con il backup le cancellano immediatamente
Spero in qualche vostro valido consiglio… Ringrazio e saluto.

Uhmmm….uhmmmm prova a uploadare manualmente tutte le cartelle della versione di WP 3.4.1. lasciando stare quella che si chiama “content” e lasciando stare il file config.php
Poi torna sulla pagina dove ti chiede di fare l’aggiornamento…

Paleoseti mi hai salvato!
Ho reinstallato le due cartelle admin e include e ora funziona tutto!! Mi hai evitato di ricreare tutto il sito da zero

In fondo siamo qui per aiutarci.
Buon lavoro e consiglia al tuo cliente di backuppare sempre il file DB completo, si sa mai

Dovrebbe dipendere dall’host comunque… Di solito quando gli aggiornamenti automatici non vanno a buon fie l’host ha problemi con i permessi dei file o cartelle.
