Salve,
ho aggiornato wp alla versione 3.01 dalla 2.6.3 lasciando inalterata la cartella wp-content.
Quello che succede è che non riesco ad effettuare più alcun upload di immagini all’interno dei post ne tantomeno immagini all’interno delle gallery con next-gen…mi viene resituito un messaggio di errore:
impossibile creare home/nome_blog/public_html/wp-content
la cartella ovviamente esiste…sotto htdocs, e tutti i privilegi di scrittura lettura sono settati correttamente. e lo stesso blog reinstallato in locale funziona correttamente.

con il risultato che ora il pannello di controllo non è più raggiungibile. Un messaggio di errore infatti recita:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4864 bytes) in /var/www/virtual/salogentis.it/htdocs/wp-includes/registration.php on line 33
qualche suggerimento o esorcismo da applicare?

se non sbaglio devi prima aggiornare alla 2.7 e poi alla 3 altrimenti non funziona

e l’errore fatale post aggiornamento può essere dovuto a questo?

giusto per aggiornare la situazione…ho riprovato a ricaricare il blog da ftp…riesco ad accedere al front-end ma non al pannello di controllo…immagino quindi che il problema sia da attribuire al server e non a wp…resta ancora vigente la questione dell’upload

no non c’è nessun problema a fare l’aggiornamento come lo hai fatto. Il tuto errore è molto comune cerca nel forum che ci saranno almeno una cinquantina di richieste identiche.

si, il problema è molto comune ma non sulla cartella wp-content…al massimo nelle sottocartelle che vengono create per il caricamento dei file…e la soluzione è proprio quella di verificare i privilegi di accesso alle cartelle…cosa che ho già fatto …quelli originali erano 775, io ho provato anche con il 777 ma non è cambiato nulla.
Può centrare il fatto che la cartella di home sul server sia htdocs e non public_html come specificato nell’errore?
