Salve, vorrei dei chiarimenti, in quanto quando faccio un up di immagine WordPress crea in automatico 7 immagini… a me delle sette ne serve solo una… esiste un plug in che cancella le altre 6 ?
Invece per immagini non utilizzate esiste un plug in che fa pulizia in automatico?

Veraemnte ne crea 3 se ne crea 7 il tema che usi o qualche plugin le crea… e no non esiste un pluginc he cancelli quelle che non ti servono…

Veramente si riferiva al numero di immagini e poi come ho detto NON credo esista un plugin ed infatti quello che indichi tu NON funziona con le versioni di WP recenti quindi è come se non esistesse… però ripeto WP NON crea 7 immagini.. ergo le crea qualche cosa d’altro e quindi potrebbero servire…

No perchè poccorre capire cosa le crea prima.. e siccome solo tu sai cosa usi come tema e plugin noi senza palla di vetro possiamo dare poco aiuto

non parlavo del tema… ma invece parlavo di wordpress… che crea in automatico delle sue miniature.. infatti parlavo proprio di questo e non le immagini create dal tema.

1) WP NON genera sette immagini ma solo 3 dimensioni thumb, media e grande oltre l’originale.. le altre 4 misure le genra o un plugin o il tema
2) Modificando il plugin e/o il tema puoi bloccare le 4 dimensioni extra
3) Non credo esista un metodo, un filtro, per disabilitare la generazione, delle immagine standard, io non l’ho trovato spulciando il codice.. se non si hanno le librerie GD attive tale generazione ovviamente fallisce… ma non mi pare un sistema “intelligente”
Si potrebbe scrivere un plugin che sul’evento add_attachemente cancelli le immagini dopo che son state generate..

Si infatti, grazie davvero gentile, ho pensato che l’ultima soluzione è passare alla cancellazione periodica manuale delle immagini in questione.
Ultima richiesta e dopo rompo più xD volevo sapere se esiste un plug in grado di ricercare file e cancellare file dentro la cartella upload, questa idea mi è venuta quando ho visto che ogni immagine generata da wordpress e dal tema alla fine nel nome ( dell’immagine generata ) vi è la dimensione della miniatura… facendo un ricerca ad esempio con “300×300” mi aspetto di trovare tutte le immagini con tale scritta nel nome, in modo da cancellarle in serie… dovete capire che è abbastanza lungo quello dell’ download e dell’upload di tutte le immagini x la cancellazione, sarebbe bello poterlo fare direttamente da server.

I temi ben fatti quando implementano una funzione per creare copie delle immagini, per le varie thumbs: archivi del mese, categorie, ecc. Lo fanno in una propria directory di cache. Se il tuo tema fa questo nella cartella uploads allora cestinalo nel monnezzaio giacché è un tema scritto con i piedi.

Sei un Genio! xkè non ci ho pensato, ho trovato il modo di eliminare le tumbhail adesso un altra immy grz me ne macano solo 2.. quelle che wordpress crea 300×300 e grandi *_* ho trovato!
basta che cambio le dimensioni medie e grandi e metto 140*140 ovviamente wordpress non è stupido non ne crea altre = x il fatto delle cache non ci avevo pensato grz le creo subito
