Ciao, sto cambiando tema al mio sito ma nel nuovo tema (Synapse) ogni qualvolta pubblichi un articolo l’immagine in evidenza che hai scelto viene pubblicata automaticamente anche nell’articolo (con dimensioni enormi).
Quello che sto provando a fare è eliminare quell’antiestetica immagine all’interno dell’articolo, senza però togliere l’immagine in anteprima che viene pubblicata in home page.
Premetto che non ci so fare con i codici, magari c’è qualche plugin che risolve questa situazione? o un modo più semplice? le poche volte che ho messo mano ai codici è finito che mi è sparito il sito.

Io non installerei un plugin, sempre che ci sia, per una cosa del genere.
La soluzione per il tuo tema è qua (anche se non hai messo il link al tema suppongo sia quello, altrimenti metti il link diretto al tema, come scritto grande e rosso in “leggere con attenzione”).
Una cosa però: non mettere quel codice dove dice, ma crea un child-theme e mettilo nel file functions.php del tuo child theme. Il child theme è necessario per non perdere in futuro questa e altre eventuali modifiche con l’aggiornamento del tema, e per mantenere integro il tema originale.
