Utilizzo il plugin wp-o-matic con un eccessivo utilizzo di CPU.
Attualmente ho impostato 7 feed, i quali si aggiornano ogni 30 minuti.
Tenendo il plugin attivo, anche se in quel momento non sta aggiornando nulla, il sito diventa molto lento, ed aumenta il carico di CPU.
Come mai?
In teoria, dovrebbe usare più risorse durante la ricerca dei nuovi feed, quindi ogni 30 minuti.
Disattivando il plugin, torna tutto normale.

no ma siccome questi plugin spesso caricano il DB con molte richieste su hosting condivisi è normale raggiungere i limiti imposti dai provider… feedwordpress non rallenta cosଠtanto almeno il nostro planet non soffre…

sono su server dedicato, e malgrado la mia dual-core 2.0 GHz, spesso ho picchi al 70/80/90% di utilizzo

se hai server e db sulla stessa macchina in funzione anche del resto e di quanta memoria hai potrebbe essere normale… in questi casi la diagnosi è sempre complessa non è detto che sia il plugin in se ma la combinazione di fattori… ovvio che un plugin pesante fa salire il carico in generale…

si ho tutto sulla stessa macchina.
leggendo molti articoli sul web, pare sia un problema noto di wp-o-matic non più supportato e aggiornato dal creatore.
il problema della cpu è noto, speravo ci fosse un rimedio.
con feedwordpress, se non erro, non potevo prendere automaticamente solo una parte dell’articolo e mettere in fondo il link a quello originale, mentre con wp-o-matic, con dovuta modifica al codice, ci sono riuscito!
