Ciao ho recentemente aggiornato alla versione 2.5.1 … ma mi son reso conto che nonostante l’indicatore del numero commenti segnali correttamente il numero di commenti presenti quando cerco di visualizzarli non vi è traccia…
Ho provato sia a disabilitare tutti i plugIn che ad utilizzare un tema standard… niente!! Non riesco a visualizzarli… eppure ci sono sul DB li vedo e sono visibili anche nella parte amministrativa….
Idee ?? Consigli ???

Ho notato una cosa veramente pessima…
allora ho provato ad inserire un’ulteriore commento in un post che ne conteneva già 2 quindi portandolo a 3 commenti….
Ciò che è successo è veramente strano.. allora una volta inserito il commento si riesce a visualizzare il nuovo commento ma non i vecchi…
Per il post in cui ho inserito il nuovo commento nella sezione amministrativa dei post a fianco al post viene riportata la presenza di un solo commento .. cliccando sul numero si viene riportati al riepilogo dei commenti presenti e li vedo anche i vecchi mentre il contatore è fermo a 1.
Che è successo… ?
Devo rollbackare e tornare alla vecchia versione di WP ?!? :°( help me !

L’hosting è hostdepartment[dot]com, è su linux….
Per l’aggiornamento ho seguito… la guida che si trova sul sito di wordpress….
ossia copia del db, del filesystem, cancellazione delle dir elencate meno quelle elencate.. etc.

Potrebbe essere un aggiornamento del database non completo, non so da che versione hai aggiornato, per forzare un aggiornamento devi modificare il valore db_version nella tabella wp_options del database, lo puoi fare usando phpmyadmin.
Riporta il valore della versione corrispondente a quella della versione di WP da cui hai aggiornato, sapere che numero mettere fai riferimento a questa tabella:

In tal modo rifacendo il login ti verrà chiesto di aggiornare il DB.

A questo punto prova a downgradare.
Mi raccomando ogni operazione a Plugin DISATTIVATI e anche per sicurezza tema standard.
