Ciao a tutti. Io devo passare da php5.3 a php5.4, in quanto dei plugin che mi servono funzionano solo con 5.4.
Che voi sappiate ci possono essere problemi a fare il passaggio, con un sito già esistente? Qualcuno mi ha detto che bisogna vedere se il codice del sito è compatibile, ma non so bene cosa significhi

L’unica cosa che ti si può dire è che WordPress gira sulla versione PHP 5.2.4 in su.
Noi non possiamo sapere che plugin hai e su quali versioni girano al meglio, questo devi accertarlo tu andando sui loro siti plugin per plugin.
Ma io giro già su php5.3, è che voglio passare a php5.4.
Quello che mi chiedevo, a parte i plugin, è se tutto il sito in sé (template, contenuti ecc.) potrebbero avere dei contraccolpi nel passaggio…
Credo di averti già risposto.
Come già detto, plugin e template devi accertarli tu se sono compatibili, andando sui loro siti e guardando i requisiti.
Wordpress gira dalla 5.2.4 in su, le estensioni sono cosa a parte.
