Ciao a tutti!
Scusatemi se probabilmente sarò ripetitivo, dato che ho già notato altre discussioni in merito, ma ho bisogno di un pò più di delucidazioni sull’aggiornamento.
Ho su 2 blog la versione 2.3.3 e visto che è datata penso sia giunto il momento di aggiornarla.
Dunque, in uno di questi ho come tema il Chameleon 1.0 di Ainslie Johnson e nell’altro ho il Rockin Chrome 1 di Cody Miller.
Entrambi questi due temi sono stati profondamente adattati alle mie esigenze.
Dunque chiedo: cosa devo fare? Solitamente trovavo buone le guide che mettevate a disposizione, meglio ancora con i codici da aggiornare, ma ora per il passaggio dalla 2.3.3 alle successive non riesco a trovare la guida o i codici necessari (probabilmente ci sono, ma io sono più accecato di loro).
Chiedo quindi consigli e aiuto in merito!

Non trovi nulla di specifico perchè non c’è: la guida e i file da scaricare sono gli stessi per ogni versione e senza problemi dalla 2.3 in poi.
Devi solo scaricare il file zippato da questa pagina (ovviamente la 2.6.3 completa e non la “diff”) e seguire la normale procedura di aggiornamento (backup WP, backup DB, disattivare plugin, eliminare i file senza sovrascriversi, upload nuova versione, aggiornamento, ecc…).

Ti ringrazio per queste dritte che per ora mi sono state molto utili.
Sono riuscito ad aggiornare il primo dei miei siti e mi pare che tutto sia a posto.
Ho ricaricato il vecchio db e ho visto che ha chiesto di essere aggiornato.
C’è altro che devo fare, per caso?
Qualcos’altro che devo sapere?

Non c’è bisogno di ricaricare il DB se non ci sono problemi: in ogni caso una nuova versione lo aggiorna.
L’unica cosa è stare attento ai plugin e attivarli uno per uno per maggiore sicurezza.
