Sto operando con i custom post type, creando anche fields etc… il mio problema è che ho necessita di escludere gli utenti senza credenziale ne privilegi di amministratore, in questo caso editori dall’utilizzo dell’editor visuale dopo che il loro post è stato pubblicato, ovvero possono operare ancora sui campi creati come fields (nome, telefono, via etc..) per eventuali aggiornamenti e modifiche ma non voglio che aggiornino il post ed il titolo del post, per questo motivo ho necessità di escluderli dalla visualizzazione dell’editor visuale, dopo che il loro post è stato pubblicato, pensavo di recuperare l’ID del post oppure verificare se per il determinato utente il post che sta rieditando è già stato pubblicato ma non so come fare, sto operando sul file functions.php.

Si esattamente, una volta che l’amministratore ha pubblicato il post, gli altri user dovrebbero poter ancora oltre che visualizzare il loro post già pubblicato ma anche apportare delle modifiche se vogliono solo ai custom fields presenti ma non poter agire sul titolo ed il contenuto già approvato presente nell’editor visuale.

un plugn cosଠnon l’ho mai utilizzato.
Però potresti crearti una pagina modifica-fields.php, inserire dentro un form. dentro il form fai visualizzare i valori del cusstom fields del tuo post (get_post_meta). una volta che l’utente clicca su aggiorna, utilizzi la funzione http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/update_post_meta
