Salve a tutto
da premettere che non sono espertissimo
cmq è da un pò che ho un blog wordpress su server netsons
fin ora mai avuti problemi
ho aggiornato wp alla versione 2.9
poi mi sono accorto che non riesco più ad installare plugin
e mi sono anche accorto che non riesco nemmeno ad aggiornare wordpress stesso!
il bello che non ricevo errori durante l’aggiornamento!
compare scritto “Scompattamento dell’aggiornamento”
e poi tutto tace!
cosa posso fare per rimediare?

loro possono vedere nei log il tipo di errore che tu non vedi, sapendo quello si può vedere come risolvere.

la invito a verificare tramite funzioni di debug eventuali presenze di errori nel codice da lei in uso.
L’assistenza fornita non riguarda l’installazione e configurazione di applicativi web da lei in uso.
Se lo desidera posso metterle a disposizione un nostro webmaster al costo di 60€ + IVA l’ora.”
come posso risolvere il problema?

cambiando hosting, se questa è la loro assitenza.
Prova ad installare manualmente la 2.9.1 e vedi se poi puoi installare plugin.
Potrebbe essere un problema di configurazione di curl del server ma, senza avere i log degli errori si va a tentoni.

amico mio ho una bella notizia
avevo attivato da poco un plug backupify
che dovrebbe fare il backup di wordpress in automatico
ho provato a disattivarlo tanto pper provare ed ora tutto funziona!

in realtà disattivare i plugin e mettere il tema standard dovresti farlo prima di aprire il topic qui, come è scritto nell’avvertomento prima di postare

ti chiedo scusa……. non l’avevo letto
il panico fa fare delle scelte sconsiderate….
quindi dovrei sempre disabilitare tutti i plug quando ne installo uno nuovo?

no devi farlo quando qualcosa che ha sempre funzionato non ti funziona più e anche mettere il tema standard.
