Buongiorno.
Ho installato il seguente plugin per WordPress e funziona solamente con la versione WP 3.2.1 .
Poichè contiene pochissimo codice e sono solamente 2 file php (brevi) c’è un modo per rendere compatibile il plugin con WP 3.3.1 ?
Non riuscendo ad ottenere supporto dallo sviluppatore, ho pensato di metterci mani io.

A naso potrebbe essere da fare qualche modifica intorno alla riga 101 del file BelloWeb-WP.php:
$obj = json_decode($result);
Il plugin utilizza json, e questa funzione è cambiata.
Ma non avendolo installato e provato non so se solo lଠsta il problema. Non hai un log con l’errore?

Prova installando questo plugin che supporta il json per problemi di quel tipo:

Se va era quello, se non va significa i problemi sono multipli.

Ho installato il plugin ma il problema non è risolto. Non c’è neanche una pagina per le impostazioni.

Se non è partito significa che di problemi ne conta più di uno, non soltanto con json e, francamente, penso sia meglio chiedere supporto al suo autore.

Riparare un plugin, scritto da altri, significa perderci del tempo facendo prove in locale. Non credo che troverai qualcuno che si mette a lavorare per la gloria e per un “robo” che nemmeno utilizza.
Alle volte le soluzioni arrivano nel forum di supporto del plugin, da persone che ne hanno bisogno e che lo usano; se era più diffuso molto probabilmente succedeva cosà¬, ma da quel che leggo (nel repository di wordpress.org) il plugin lo hanno scaricato 476 utenti in un anno.

Si, hai perfettamente ragione. Pensavo che un’occhiata veloce facesse saltar su immediatamente il problema, visto che il codice non è enorme. C’è un modo per fare il downgrade di WP?

Dalla 3.2.1 alla 3.3.1 i cambiamenti riguardano anche diverse falle sulla sicurezza; fare un downgrade significherebbe mettere a rischio il proprio lavoro, per la facilità con cui potrebbero comprometterti il sito.

Scusa, a cosa serve quel plug-in li?! cosa dovrebbe fare?
No perchè io sto studiando per fare alcuni plug-in, se vuoi te ne creo uno che faccia quella determinata funzione. Tra l’altro da quello che vedo dal codice non mi sembra affatto complesso.
