Ciao a tutti,
sto guardando wordpress da circa 2 settimane. Inizialmente me lo sono installato in locale con xampp ed ho creato un sito statico; ora ho comprato un dominio e vorrei fare il backup di quello che ho ora (pagine, tema, immagini) e restorarlo sul nuovo dominio. Ovviamente vorrei fare il backup di tutto quando immagini, pagine, loghi, tema ecc…
Ho visto e provato vari plug in ma non ho risolto molto… sapete indicarmi qualche guida o plug in?

io ho appena effettuato l’operazione manualmente, anche senza usare plugin ti assicuro che è stato facilissimo.
Ecco cosa ho fatto:
– in phpMyAdmin ho esportato tutte le tabelle in formato .sql (avevo provato in formato zip ma ho avuto problemi nel restore)
– Con Filezilla ho esportato tutta la directory contenete i files di wordpress
– Ho modificato il file wp-config.php inserendo i dati fornite dal sito di hosting: (indirizzo server mysql, nome db, utente e password)
– Con phpMyAdmin ho fatto la import delle tabelle sul nuovo server. Poi nella tabella wp-options ho modificato siteurl e home (il nuovo indirizzo al posto di localhost)
– Con filezilla ho caricato tutta la directory sul nuovo server
– Mi sono collegato alla pagina di amministrazione ( esempio: tuosito/wp-admin)
– Nelle opzioni dei permalink ho cliccato su salva (in modo da rigenerare tutti gli indirizzi delle pagine)
