Buongiorno,
scrivo perché dovrei effettuare l’aggiornamento di un sito passando da Joomla a WordPress. Pensavo di fare l’operazione utilizzando lo stesso dominio senza variare gli url delle pagine, con l’utilizzo del plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/fg-joomla-to-wordpress/ . Naturalmente una volta completata la migrazione dovrei occuparmi del restyling delle pagine (circa un centinaio) sulla base del tema WordPress scelto e avrei quindi necessità di mettere offline il sito per qualche giorno. Ora il cliente mi dice che vorrebbe avere la continuità del sito senza interruzioni offline. Sapreste indicarmi se c’è modo di lavorare sul sito realizzando l’aggiornamento e poi al momento della migrazione attivare subito il sito aggiornato (su cui ho lavorato separatamente)? Il mio dubbio ad esempio è che se lavoro in locale e realizzo il sito aggiornato, al momento della migrazione, essa mi sballi tutto e io debba riiniziare daccapo il restyling…

lo fai come vuoi, dove vuoi e poi importi tutto seguendo la guida nel nostro wiki: cambiare server.

grazie per la risposta! Io però non vorrei cambiare nè il server nè il dominio, ma mantenere quelli sui cui sta girando il sito da aggiornare….
Da server locale a server remoto è un cambio di server.
