Avevo la 2.5 fino a poco fa!
Ho appena aggiornato alla 2.5.1 ed è andato quasi tutto ok eccetto che non riesco più ad amministrare il blog.
Quando vado su amministra mi dice:
Non si dispone di permessi sufficienti per accedere a questa pagina.

Operazioni svolte: backup database e file, in locale ho rinominato le tabelle (visto che c’ero) in modo che non siano il “classico” wp_, reimportato database, riparato il config facendolo puntare alle nuove tabelle, aggiornato i vari file e quindi eseguito wp-admin/upgrade.php.
Terminato il rapidissimo aggiornamento sono andato su amministra ed ecco che non mi fa accedere…
Credo d’aver fatto tutto in modo corretto…
Mo rieseguo tutto dai backup, senza rinominare le tabelle!

Unico suggerimento ripristina i backup e ripeti l’aggiornamento.. ricordati di aggiungere la secret key nel file wp-config

Fatto!
Adesso sulle tabelle “classiche” ed ho l’accesso e tutto funziona regolarmente.

cioè risulta ovunque che è
(come in effetti dai pacchetti 2.5.1 scaricati da questo sito) la 2.5.1 ma dice comunque di aggiornare.
L’unica cartella rimasta dalla 2.5 è la wp-content
(aggiornati comunque temi e file di lingua con quelli della 2.5.1)

Se dice di aggiornare anche se poi da come versione la 2.5.1 significa che non ha aggiornato correttamente qualche cosa nel database, il che significa che l’aggiornamento non è stato effettuato correttamente. Non è che hai ripristinato il backup del DB sbagliato o non lo hai proprio ripristinato emesso solo i file nuovi?

No! Le tabelle vecchie le avevo lasciate integre e quindi erano “sane”.
Adesso dopo aver rifatto l’aggiornamento dei file ho fatto puntare il wp-config.php alle vecchie tabelle ed ho quindi “rilanciato” /wp-admin/upgrade.php che mi ha confermato l’aggiornamento del database.
Esportando le tabelle aggiornate e confrontandole con le vecchie sono evidenti le differenze quindi lato database sembra tutto ok!

Ho disattivato e riattivato i vari plugin.
Adesso mi riconosce correttamente la release 2.5.1

A questo punto una nuova domanda: “come posso rinominare senza avere noie le tabelle del database?”

Allora se sei certo del tutto usando php,yadmin apri la tabella wp-options e cerca il record con option_name uguale a update_core e cancellalo, cosi quando ti colelghi alla bacheca rieseguirà la verifica che dovrebbe sistemarsi, controlla anche che il record db_version sia 7796

Comunque confermo che db_version è a 7796

rinominando le tabelle e cambiando il prefisso nel config ma occorre anche modificare alcuni campi in alcune tabelle, che sono all’origine del problema che hai avuto sulla mancanza dei permessi.

dove si segnala un plugin che esegue il tutto automaticamente, che a naso dovrebbe andare bene per la 2.5.1 visto che le tabelle sono quelle… ma da provare dopo accurato backup, visto che indica la 2.3 coe versione ma modifiche alle tabelle nella struttura sono avvenute appunto con la 2.3 la 2.5 e 2.5.1 non dovrebbero aver modificato cose importanti.

Il plugin dell’ultimo link è uguale a quello presente in: wp-security-scan
(probabilmente è stato fuso con quest’ultimo) ma come l’altro mi dice che non ho i privilegi adatti per alterare le tabelle
Probabilmente AlterVista non permette questo, procederò a mano come indicato sugl’altri link
