Ciao a tutti,
sono un nuovo utente, prima di aprire questo topic ho effettuato varie ricerce nella rete, senza però trovare una risposta alla mia domanda.
Avrei la necessità di inserire nella barra laterale del mio sito una serie di notizie che vado a recuperare tramite un file .xml, per questo ho trovato il seguente plugin “Advanced XML Reader”. Tutto ok, se non per il fatto che il plugin mi permette di leggere un solo file XML, la mia domanda è, è possibile installare più volte il plug in in modo che possa far leggere più file XML? Qualcuno mi sa dare una risposta? Penso che sia una questione utile a più utenti.

DIrei di no visto che il il plugin ha una pagina di configurazione dove si specifica il file da leggere… ho cercato se ne esisto altri es un widget.. ma nn ho trovato nulla

Nemmeno modificando il file “advanced-xml-reader.php” che trovo all’interno dello zip riesco ad installare più volte lo stesso plugin? L’unica soluzione rimane quella di avere un unico XML completo?

Ovvio che tutto si può fare… ma occorrerà modificarlo in maniera da gestire più istanze salvare i parametri con nomi diversi nel db etc etc… a questo punto si fa prima a riscrivere il plugin

Deduco che sia più semplice farmi esportare un unico file xml contenente tutto il necessario.
Nel caso proverò a riscrivere il plug in.

Ma piuttosto che reinventare la ruota perchè non usi la creatività ? Immagino tu abbia un account google: inserisci in google reader tutti i feed che vuoi aggregare e li esporti con google feedburner in un unico feed e quello lo dai in pasto al plugin che citavi tu… direi che ci ho messo di più a scrivere qui tutto il procedimento che a farlo effettivamente.
