Un saluto a tutti. Ho appena installato WordPress 2.7 (il pacchetto base in italiano scaricato qui su wordpress.it), e ho constatato che non funziona l’upload delle immagini negli articoli.
Con l’uploader Flash: le immagini vengono caricate nella cartella wp-content, ma nell’articolo è visibile soltanto il titolo del file.
Con l’uploader del browser: stesso problema, con la differenza che le immagini non vengono caricate per nulla, si vede soltanto una bella cornice vuota (sempre con il titolo del file) nel form di inserimento dell’articolo. Andando a vedere le proprietà di quest’ultima, noto un “/wp-content/upload/”…. com’è possibile che tenti di caricarlo nella cartella Upload, visto che non c’è ?

perchè la cartella di default per gli upload è proprio quella, se non esiste e non riesce a crearla devi crearla tu altrimenti non potrai farel’upload.

Grazie wolly, ora provo a crearla io manualmente allora. Come mai però l’upload flash carica le immagini nella cartella wp-content direttamente ? Teoricamente non dovrebbe darmi un errore ?

Ho creato la cartella uploads manualmente e le ho dato chmod 777, ma non viene caricata nessuna immagine, né con l’uploader flash, che continua a infilare le immagini direttamente nella cartella “wp-content”, né con il browser, che la ignora del tutto, anche dopo aver creato manualmente la cartella upload.

Allora, sono riuscito a fare almeno il quadro complessivo della situazione. In pratica sia il modulo flash che l’uploader da browser indicano il percorso corretto nelle proprietà dell’immagine (cioè comprensivo della certella uploads), ma di fatto uppano le immagini direttamente nella cartella wp-content, sia l’immagine originale che le varie thumb. In allegato uno screen. Questo accade anche dopo che ho creato manualmente la cartella uploads, che come ho detto non c’era.

Non è un problema di perrcorsi indicati nella pagina Impostazioni=>Varie?

Era proprio questo infatti, grazie per l’aiuto. Quello che non capisco è come mai si sia auto-impostato in quel modo, visto che di default dovrebbe andare in uploads. La cartella uploads viene creata automaticamente ? Forse non riuscendo a farlo si è auto-impostato in wp-content, è possibile ?
Comunque grazie ancora, problema risolto.
