Salve ragazzi,
scusate la domanda certamente banale, ma avrei esigenza di effettuare una copia di backup del mio sito per scongiurare eventuali perdite in caso di danneggiamento dei server dell’host su cui mi appoggio gratuitamente.
Vorrei sapere come fare per conservare in locale una copia del mio sito, ci lavoro da mesi e non vorrei accada l’irreparabile!
Potete dirmi cosa dovrei fare? Ho necessità di conservare, oltre ai contenuti, anche immagini ed allegati presenti sul server.

COpiare via FTP tutto e fare un backup del DB… et voilà , FTP + phpmyadmin fan tutto

ma posso usare lo stesso procedimento per spostare il sito da un server all’altro?
e se usassi un plugin come BackupWordpress?

Si certo il metodo va benissimo copi tutto via FTP e backup del DB e poi ripristini sul server nuovo , ovviamente se cambia URL o altro ci son altre cose da fare. Ma se il cambio di server mantiene il dominio nessun problema.

e se, magari dovessi traslare il sito cambiando anche il dominio? dovrei modificare anche i file di configurazione in php, vero?
si, ma quali nello specifico (a parte wp-config.php e wp-setting.php)?

si e anche nel DB sia nella option che nel caso tu abbia immagini o altro inserite nei post con URL assolute modificando tali voci, non credo esistano plugin ma tocca scrivere le query SQL opportune in phpmyadmin

vabbe, allora se ne parla dopo gli esami. qnd avro’ tempo da dedicare. per ora sta bene su netsons con il redirect!
