Ho un blog WP 2.6.2 hosted su server dedicato al quale accedo con cpanel con possibilità di creare backup completi, o della home page o del database mysql.
Sul mio pc casalingo ho installato NGINX + PHP + MYSQL + WP 2.6.5 in italiano. Sotto la cartella NGINX ho una cartella HTML e sotto ancora una cartella BLOG, per cui scrivendo nel browser “localhost/blog” accedo al blog nuovo di zecca, perfettamente funzionante e pronto per l’uso, ovviamente è vuoto.
Come faccio per trasferirci dentro tutti i contenuti del mio “vero”, in modo da avere una copia identica ? . Tutto questo per avere la possibilità di lavorare tranquillamente in locale e poi usare WINSPC per sincronizzarla con l’ hosted.
Ho fatto vari tentativi che mi hanno portato via giornate intere di prove, senza raggiungere nessun risultato, qualcuno mi può aiutare per favore? Grazie.

importi il database utilizzando phpmyadmin in locale ricordandoti di andare a modificare i path di wordpress nel databse locale

Ho fatto come mi hai detto, nel pannello di phpmyadmin clicco importa, il file da importare è di 16685KB mentre accanto alla finestra dice (Dimensione massima: 65,536 KiB), set di caratteri lascio utf8, casella importazione parziale lascio il check, modo di compatibilità SQL lascio NONE, clicco esegui, risposta= 413 Request Entity Too Large…a me sembra che 16685 non superi i 65536, cosa posso fare? cerca nell’assistenza del server che utilizzi oppure nell’assistenza di mysql, noi qui facciamo assistenza solo a wordpress.
