Tema attuale: Silver Light 01
Vorrei sapere se questo tema supporta i widget poichè qualsiasi widget io abiliti non vedo una mazza nella sidebar di destra. poi ho notato che se provo a cambiare tema scegliendone uno compatibile con l’attuale. riscontro notevoli problemi di visualizzazione, come potre fare per cercare di utilizzare almeno 2-3 temi affinchè siano visualizzati almeno nello stesso modo? posso incorrere in errori gravi facendo cambi del tema? grazie a tutti

Il tema è l’unica cosa che puoi cambiare tranquillamente senza incorrere in problemi gravi per WP. Cosa diversa sarebbe modificare il “core” di WP.
Per sapere se supporti i widget, devi vedere/chedere sul sito da cui lo hai scaricato. Sicuramente c’è scritto tra le caratteristiche. COmunque mi pare che nella sidebar ci sia qualcosa tra cui ultimi post e tag cloud.
Per avere temi con la stessa visualizzazone, devi crearteli tu: copi la cartella del tema che ti piace e vai a modificare solo gli elementi grafici (immagini, colori, font) nel CSS.

Ciao Degra, si in effetti avevo letto che la modifica del CSS permette tante cose ma è un po troppo complesso x me cmq ho già fato qualche prova a fare modifiche “sicure” e ho viato qualche cambiamento. per i widget non lo so..il tema è presente sul sito del temi di wp…il sito dell’autore dice Widget-ready ma a me non vanno boh…

Quali widget vorresti mostrare che non si vedono?
Mi sorge il dubbio (scusa se mi permetto) che potresti confondere widget con plugin: non tutti i plugin sono “widgettizabili”, quindi se fosse questo il problema non sarebbe una cosa strana.
I CSS contengono tutto ciò che riguarda la visualizzazione (dimensioni dei blocchi, paragrafi, testo, sfondi, immagini) del tema. In teoria un tema fatto bene dovrebbe poter essere leggibile anche “nudo”, senza CSS. Poi i CSS cambiano la visualizazione, anche radicalmente.
Su HTML.it ci sono guide e forum per imparare i CSS, se ti dovesse servire.

OK ma guarda ora ho cambiato tema e lo sto sistemando..e questo qua (clockworkmint) vedo che i widget si vedono (tipp il calendario e altri…) ok nessun problema anzi ben lieto che ti permetti di suggerire ! non p molto che sono dietro a WP. devo ancora capire i significati dei valori del style.css… a dire il vero sto facendo della modifiche empiriche per vedere l’effetto che fa… sempre pronto a sostituire subito il file se qualcosa non va… hi
